For dinner is Carnitas Tacos that came with house made guacamole, black beans and fresco cheese, salsa Verde and corn tortillas. Friend had Carne Asada. I also got a side of Arroz con Plantains. Next we made it to the Dockside Bar and got the lady a Duck Duck Razz Martini and I got a Heavens Door Old Fashioned. If you want a good restaurant in Disney Springs that you can often reliably walk into with no reservation and little wait… may I suggest Frontera Cocina. 🇲🇽 ☀️ 🇲🇽 ☀️ 🇲🇽 ☀️ 🇲🇽 ☀️ 🇲🇽 ☀️ 🇲🇽 ☀️ 🇲🇽 ☀️ 🇲🇽 • Disney Springs has such a great lineup of restaurants, in my opinion. Many of which can be difficult to get a reservation for. 2 of them are in my top 5 favorite restaurants in WDW (Boathouse and Homecomin’). But if you want someplace where you’ll likely be able to walk right in, Frontera Cocina is a good option. I would in general label this restaurant in the range of good to great. If you’ve ever eaten at La Hacienda, the restaurant on the outside of the Mexico pavilion in Epcot, that’s a great comparison and indicator of how you’ll feel about eating here. There are many who love it, and for those that didn’t, I mainly see complaints of price and/or portion sizes. And I can see where they’re coming from. The average price for an entree is $37.50. If you’d like my advice, I’d go for a starter and their tacos, rather than their entree menu. If you’re not worried about the price, go for the carne asada. I enjoy their cuatro leches dessert very much, and their margaritas are great! They even have the La Cava Avocado, yes, the same one you can get from the Mexico pavilion.

Frontera Cocina at Disney Springs has gotten rid of their vegetable tacos and replaced the vegetarian option with this new Roasted Vegetable Red-Chile Enchiladas. Just like the tacos you need to modify them to be made vegan by omitting the cheese. Be sure to also speak with a chef to see if anything else needs to be changed during your visit to make this item vegan. These enchiladas are filled with mushroom, zucchini, and potato, and are topped with a red sauce in a corn tortilla.
