Did you know you can enjoy an Ethiopian inspired Injera Basket at Walt Disney World? You can enjoy this entree at Jiko — The Cooking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. 🦒 This dish features seasonal stews, which at this current time was a lentil stew, chickpea stew, and a greens with mushroom stew. It also came with harissa, a tomato and onion salad, and candied kumquats. My favorite was the greens with some harissa with each bite. This was a fun entree to enjoy, but the appetizers here are the real stars. If you watched my new video yesterday on yt, you heard us try to remember where the burger was that had tomato jam on it. 🍔 🍅 Looking thru my photos I remembered it was at Hurricane Hanna’s! ❇️ If you want a great burger that’s *close* to the one you can get inside Beaches & Cream, without the reservation or wait, pop over to Hurricane Hanna’s pool bar & grill at Disney’s Beach Club and Yacht Club pool, Stormalong Bay. 💦 There you get this Impossible burger, featuring tomato jam vs. the onion jam at Beaches & Cream. Also fries instead of tater tots (and it’s about $10 cheaper than at B&C!). If you’re still in the mood for tater tots you can grab those to go at Martha’s Vineyard bar when they open at 4pm. Magic Kingdom was so much fun! The weather was perfect and it was the most beautiful day to walk around and play. For dinner I really wanted to try the vegan skillet at Wilderness Lodge. It was great! Our favorite part was the cornbread and burn ends.

It comes with seasoned fries and a side of salsa - I've heard people say it's spicy, but if you're anything like me and love extra heat, the salsa is way too mild. The burrito is loaded with soy chorizo, sausage, vegan cheese, hash browns and avocado sauce. It is massive in size, but doesn't feel heavy- which it typical of most plant based foods - so you can continue to enjoy the parks right after eating. You get a lot for what you pay for here and if you're around for breakfast, this is definitely worth a try! Find this at Smoke Jumpers Grill📍Located at Disney's California Adventure right next to Soarin' Smoke Jumpers Grill also offers an Impossible double cheeseburger- the only burger at either Disney parks that actually melts the vegan cheese on the patties! My fave! As always, this menu item has the plant based logo next to it, meaning that all ingredients listed have no animal products, making this a fully vegan meal without modifications! . l appreciate Disney for doing such a great job at helping us find a vegan item at almost every menu! Disney’s Animal Kingdom has a ton of vegan quick service options. We recently ate at Restaurantosaurus in Dino-Land USA because they have an actual vegan kids option here for our son that isn’t an Uncrustables (he’s allergic to peanuts so that makes navigating kids options hard for us). This is the Impossible Spicy Southwestern Burger which is topped with vegan pepper jack cheese, a vegan chipotle sauce, lettuce and tomato. The kids Impossible Burger here is a little smaller and has no toppings. This burger is hit or miss. The current vegan entrée at Blue Bayou is the Sunchoke and Pistachio Pesto Pasta. The creamy and flavorful pasta is tossed with charred heirloom cauliflower, bloomsdale spinach, roasted tomatoes, toasted pistachio, and crispy vegan parmesan crisps. I enjoyed this one, but I was also making glances at my husband's 3 Cheese Monte Cristo and wished they had a more decadent vegan option. By the way, that is an off menu item you can request. @daveladr is a vegetarian. 1900 Park Fare might make you do the veggie dance. Disney’s Grand Floridian resort is making zoodles popular for dinner again with this meaty dish. This #vegan #glutenfree dish inspired us to cut our zoodles at home into bite-sized bits so they don't turn to mush. What we got: - Impossible Merguez Sausage with Zucchini Noodles (Vegan, Gluten Free) - Glazed Carrots (Vegan, Gluten Free) - Green Beans (Vegan, Gluten Free) - Steamed Jasmine Rice (Vegan, Gluten Free) The winning combination is the zoodles with the rice and then following it with some veg. The absolute best thing I ate on my last trip - Steakhouse 71's Vegetable Wellington. 🍄🟫 Offically described as Mushroom Duxelles and Fire-roasted Artichokes wrapped in Puff Pastry, Romesco, Brussels Sprouts, it's one of the best Vegetarian dishes I have eaten anywhere let alone at Disney! 😋 It's ironic that of all places this was at a Steakhouse, but I cannot highly recommend it enough. Also, top tip, visiting the Contemporary for lunch was the perfect way to break up a busy Magic Kingdom day and get away from the hustle and bustle of the park for a while. 🏰🎠👸🏼

The roasted mushroom and leek pizza is back again for Earth Month 💚 The only difference is that they’re putting vegan meatballs instead of vegan sausage on it this time. I’m planning on coming down to the parks later this month and am SO looking forward to eating this pizza from Terra Treats again! 😍
Vegan Guide to Jiko @ Animal Kingdom Lodge 🌱 For Easter, we visited Jiko which is the sit-down, non-buffet dining option at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo House) 🦒 This spot was new for me, so I was very pleased to see several vegan options available: - Jiko Salad - White Bean Soup - Sukuma Wiki Dumplings - Injera Basket - Dulles Vegan Dessert (Creamy Chocolate Sorbet, Hibiscus Cake, Passion Fruit Sauce, Mango Salsa, Chocolate-Lime Soil) Everything is clearly labeled, per usual ❤️ We tried the Injera Basket, Dumplings, and a crispy break substituting the non-vegan bread they usually bring out. 🌱 The stews and sauces for the injera baker were phenomenal! The bread itself was not authentic, and a bit strange, but definitely served its purpose to pick up the delicious stews! The dumplings were quite delicious, albeit small portal sizes for the price. And the bread service was okay, I would’ve loved to get actual bread personally. I know they do this at the other resorts. Overall, nice ambiance, good food, and a really solid number of vegan dishes. Have you been! There’s a newer noodle dish over at Magic Kingdom now at Jungle Navigation Co. Skipper Canteen. This is a modified version of the Nile Nellie’s Noodle Bowl. This dish is modified by swapping the shrimp and eggs by replacing it with tofu. The noodles come with pickled radish, a spicy tamarind sauce, and toasted peanuts. The flavor is more sweet and acidic than other noodles last. I was hoping for more heat with these as it was mentioned on the menu, but I didn’t find them spicy at all. NEW DISNEYLAND VLOG! Final Night in Disneyland! Lamplight Lounge Dinner, Disneyland Christmas Fireworks and Snow On Main Street! Join me on my final evening in Disneyland! First I head to Disney California Adventure to have dinner in Lamplight Lounge. I have the Brussel Caesar Salad and a few drinks whilst looking out over Pixar Pier! The park is alive with music and had an amazing atmosphere! What a fabulous way to end my time in DCA! I then head over to Disneyland to watch the Christmas fireworks, Believe in Holiday Magic. This show is super special as there are also projections on the building and even snow on Main Street! This was a really fantastic way to spend my last evening in Disneyland! Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom you can find these Korean Barbecue Mushroom Bao Buns. Both Tiffins Restaurant and Nomad Lounge have them on their menu. The Bao Buns are filled with grilled oyster mushrooms, cucumber kimchi, and pickled green papaya. The flavors in this dish are really great. The Plant-based Skillet at Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disneys Wilderness Lodge is a very filling and flavorful option. This skillet is filled with Maple-Chipotle Barbecued Jackfruit, Spicy “Sausage”, Mustard Glazed Beefless Tips, Herb-brushed Chick’n, Roasted Potatoes, Oven-roasted Carrots, Sautéed Green Beans, and Charred Peppers. This meal also comes with vegan cornbread (my fav!) and vegan coleslaw. If you are ordering it with other vegans you get a larger skillet to share and pick from, or if you’re the only vegan you get this cute little personal skillet to enjoy. 😋 #VeganDisneyWorld

We thought we were getting a unique Land Cart special, but we ended up with a common supermarket snack. The new Land Cart is a permanent fixture to EPCOT and will be open beyond the duration of Flower and Garden festival.
