Dynamic Figure 🌼🌸🌷🌿🍄 Artists Carrie Stanley and Charlotte Houlihan are coming together to lead an exciting weekend drawing workshop. Both are dynamic and expressive artists who explore figuration through a wide variety of media using experimental processes. Focusing on the figure and using an array of exotic plants and leaves as props this workshop promises to be fun and immersive, colourful and brave. You will use mixed media and different substrates over the course of the weekend to explore multi angled layered poses, drawings built up through sheets of transparencies, collaged compositions and more. There will be a live model to draw from during these sessions. Who? All welcome; no experience necessary; age 16+ (under 18s should attend with an adult). Max group size: 12. When? The final piece 💖 'Mum in thought' is about A3 in size and created in approx 7 hours. Mum was pleased with the painting. I love watercolours, I tried a new way of painting skin using blue and green as my base layers. I took some photos of each stage so will add them shortly.
