कल प्रोग्रेसिव आर्टिस्ट्स लीग द्वारा "पूँजीवाद में विज्ञापनों की विचारधारा और पूँजीवादी विचारधारा का विज्ञापन" विषय पर एक अध्ययन सत्र का आयोजन किया गया। अध्ययन सत्र में विज्ञापनों के ज़रिये पूँजीवादी विचारधारा के प्रचार पर विस्तार से बात की गयी। आज विज्ञापनों का फैलाव इस क़दर हो गया है कि आप कुछ भी कीजिए, कहीं भी जाइए, कुछ भी देखिए या सुनिए, आपको विज्ञापन दिख ही जायेंगे। टेलीविजन, अख़बार, रेडियो से लेकर इण्टरनेट पर सोशल मीडिया, यूट्यूब, या गाने सुनने पर भी आपको किसी न किसी प्रकार के विज्ञापन से रुबरू होना पड़ता है। भले ही यह विज्ञापन किसी एक उत्पाद का प्रचार कर रहे हों, लेकिन हर तीस सेकण्ड में आने वाले यह विज्ञापन असल में इस पूरी पूँजीवादी व्यवस्था का और पूँजीवादी विचारधारा का महिमामण्डन कर रहे होते हैं। इन विज्ञापनों ने हर चीज़ को पूँजीवाद के मातहत ला खड़ा करने में बड़ा योगदान किया है। जीवन शैली, संस्कृति, राजनीति, प्रेम, रिश्ते से लेकर तमाम चीज़ आज पूँजीवाद के प्रभाव में आ चुके हैं। कहना गलत नहीं होगा कि रिश्ते आज पूँजीवादी रिश्ते में, संस्कृति पूँजीवादी संस्कृति में, राजनीति पूँजीवादी राजनीति में (ऐसे ही हर चीज़) तब्दील हो चुकी है। यह एक ऐसा प्रचार अभियान है जिसकी कोई मियाद नहीं है; जिसमें उत्पाद बदल सकते हैं, उनकी प्रस्तुति बदल सकती है, लेकिन सारतत्व वही रहता है - पूँजीवाद का यशोगान। विज्ञापन ने ही लोगों (उपभोक्ताओं) के अन्दर एक चाहत पैदा करने का काम किया है, जो यह विश्वास दिलाता है कि उनकी ज़िन्दगी का असल मक़सद इन वस्तुओं को उपभोग करना ही है। एक प्रतिस्पर्द्धी बाज़ार अर्थव्यवस्था में निजी माल उत्पादकों/पूँजीपतियों के लिए अपने सामानों-सेवाओं के लिए ख़रीदारों के वर्ग तक पहुँच बनाना और उससे भी ज़्यादा उन सामानों-सेवाओं के लिए उपभोक्ताओं के इस वर्ग में चाहत पैदा करना विज्ञापनों के ज़रिये ही सम्भव हो सकता है। वस्तुओं के उपभोग ने समाज में मनुष्यों के आपसी रिश्तों को रुपये-पैसे के चमकदार रहस्यमयी आवरण में ढँक दिया है। आगे इस पूरे पूँजीवादी प्रचार जगत के इस मुकाम तक पहुँचने के इतिहास पर भी बात की गई। आज के पूँजीवादी विज्ञापन के इस रूप में होने का एक प्रमुख कारण औद्योगिक पूँजीवाद का अस्तित्व में आना था। इसके के साथ ही यह भी बात हुई कि कैसे विज्ञापन आज के पूँजीवादी विश्व उद्योग पूँजीवादी अर्थव्यवस्था का एक बेहद ज़रूरी हिस्सा बन चुका है। #capitalism #ads #ideology #commodity #production
