Ciabatta … Long ago, we used to bake ciabatta for @devitismarket every Wednesday and it developed such a following that we sometimes couldn’t bake enough. Devitis sold it as Michaelangelo bread I believe lol. But then we fell onto difficult times, as sometimes happens in this industry and we had to stop production. Cheesy Tuna Panini Melt 3. _____Ingredients:_____ - 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained - 1/4 cup mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard - 1/4 cup diced celery - 1/4 cup diced red onion - 1 tablespoon capers (optional) - 1 tablespoon lemon juice - Salt and pepper to taste - 4 slices of your favorite bread (like ciabatta or sourdough) - 4 slices cheddar cheese - 2 tablespoons butter, softened _____Directions:_____ 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, diced celery, diced red onion, capers (if using), lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. 2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. 3. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, on a heated panini press or grill pan. 4. Add one slice of cheddar cheese on the bread, then spoon the tuna mixture evenly over the cheese. 5. Add another slice of cheddar cheese on top of the tuna, then place the second slice of bread, buttered side up, on top. 6. Close the panini press or use a spatula to press down on the sandwich in the grill pan. 7. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. 8. Remove from the panini press or grill pan and let cool for a minute before slicing and serving. The sourdough we know today has come from thousands of years of tradition, spread across multiple continents. From the Swiss, the ancient Egyptians to ancient Greece and Rome, Californian Gold Miners in the American West and Klondike Gold Miners in Western Canada and Alaska, sourdough has a rich tapestry of international use. And while sourdough techniques have certainly progressed over many years, one thing remains the same - this amazing bread has always been made with a combination of flour and water (and more recently salt). While ancient Egypt is generally heralded as the birthplace of sourdough, evidence of fermented bread has been found in Bern, Switzerland, said to date back 3600 BC (around 5000 years ago). There are a few different dates floating around, both the for the discovery of yeasted bread in Switzerland and Egypt. Statt traditioneller Nudelplatten verwenden wir knuspriges Ciabatta-Brot, das sich perfekt mit unserem ⚓ Garfield Gemüselasagne Gewürz verbindet. 🌿🧀 Inspiriert von Garfields Liebe zu Lasagne haben wir dieses Gericht kreiert, das nicht nur köstlich, sondern auch unkonventionell ist. Also, warum nicht mal etwas Neues ausprobieren? 💬 Na, Hunger bekommen? 🤤 IHR BRAUCHT: 6 Lasagneplatten 1 Ciabatta-Brot 1 Knoblauchzehe ½ Bund Petersilie 5 EL Olivenöl 1 mittelgroße Zwiebel 200 ml passierte Tomaten 2 TL ⚓ Gemüselasagne Garfield 150 ml Béchamelsoße 1 Mozzarella UND SO GEHT'S: 1️⃣ Den Backofen auf 200 Grad (Umluft: 180 Grad) vorheizen und die Lasagneplatten etwa 6 Min. in kochendem Salzwasser garen. 2️⃣ Mit einem Messer ein großes längliches Rechteck in die obere Seite des Brots schneiden und diesen Teil sowie das Brotinnere entfernen. 3️⃣ Knoblauchzehe schälen und Petersilie waschen. Beides fein hacken und anschließend mit 4 EL Olivenöl vermengen. Dann die Paste im Inneren des Brots verteilen. 4️⃣ Zwiebel schälen und in kleine Würfel schneiden. Dann mit 1 EL Olivenöl in einer Pfanne glasig braten. Passierte Tomaten und 1 TL Gemüselasagne-Gewürz hinzugeben. 5️⃣ Die Béchamelsoße ebenfalls mit 1 TL Gemüselasagne-Gewürz verfeinern. Den Mozzarella in Streifen schneiden. 6️⃣ Gekochte Lasagneplatten auf die Größe der Brotöffnung zuschneiden und dann das Innere des Brotes mit den Schichten auslegen: Lasagneplatten, Tomaten-, Béchamelsoße und Mozzarella im Wechsel.
