Overseen by Ilmer Thies architects, the projects aims to maintain and repurpose existing materials, emphasizing the principles of the circular economy. A key aspect of the building’s ecological enhancement is the incorporation of the solar shading glass units @eyriseofficial, which was achieved through a collaborative effort: BGT Bischoff Glastechnik supplied parts of the panes and the insulating glass units were assembled by us. Design with light can be quite fun when working with spaces which consider both daylight and artificial lighting. This concept was workshopped with our lighting design collaborators for a studio space where we wanted to compliment an artificial lighting strategy with a daylight strategy for artists that work both during the day and at night. The objectives common to both daylight and artificial lighting were identified: - Limited to no visual access to light source itself - to reduce glare - Majority of the space to be lit from at least 3 sides - a principle used in studio photography - Tasks are more likely to be vertical than horizontal - Contrast across the space to be limited - with uniform light more significant looking towards the larger wall surfaces. مسجد المرادية بناه السلطان العثماني مراد الثاني عام 1435 (839 هـ) على تل شمال شرق مدينة المدينة المطلة على أراضي القصر (سارايجي) إلى الشمال الغربي. يشتهر مسجد المرادية بزخارفه الداخلية. مجموعة متنوعة من سداسية بلاط، يتميز بتصميمات فريدة من نوعها باللونين الأبيض والأزرق، ويتشابك مع قطع مثلثة من اللون الفيروزي تشكل فسيفساء البلاط التي تغطي جدران قاعة الصلاة حتى المستوى العلوي للنوافذ الأولى. يشتهر المسجد خاصة بأعمال بلاط إزنيق العالية الجودة التي تغطي الداخل، ولا سيما المحراب، والتي تنيرها الإضاءة من خلال الزجاج الملون في الوسط، تنتصب محراب المقرنصات في إطارها الخزفي الطويل المكسو بالخزف باللون الأبيض، باللون الأزرق والفيروزي الذي يضم آيات قرآنية إلى جانب تصميمات نباتية وهندسية.
