These compositions are interpretations of sketches made at various beaches over the years. I am often struck by all the lines I see at the beach. I’m a mum (and a jeweller) - a blog post I wrote a few months ago. I am a mum to three beautiful, funny and crazy girls. Our eldest turned five this week, we also have a two year old and an 11 week old baby. “You’ve got your hands full” “Oh you must be busy” “Wow I don’t know how you do it” And all the other funny things people say when they see us coming. I haven’t made jewellery for a while as towards the end of my pregnancy I wasn’t too well and then had a really rough recovery but today I went to the workshop and it felt good. I held my tools in my hand and for a few minutes I was a jeweller again. I had closed my order book but I made something, because I was asked and because it was a special piece. Part of my job which I love so much is the stories you tell me, the stories of your lives, your loves, your journeys and the people you care about. I am often a keeper of secrets and a page in your wonderful stories. I am a self taught jewellery maker based on Dartmoor. My Cornish upbringing instilled a deep love of nature which is echoed in my organic designs. I predominantly work with sterling silver; incorporating copper, brass and gold detailing. One off gemstones feature heavily in my work creating dramatic, bespoke pieces which encapsulate my bold and unique style. I utilise natural products from Cornwall and Dartmoor, combing beaches, woods and wild places to find the shells, coral, sea glass and curiosities that feature within my work, colouring the range with individuality. My range includes one of a kind pieces which are totally unique and collections of popular designs. My aim is to create jewellery that is personal and reflective of the natural places that surround me so each wearer can own an original piece. He's a veteran and had received his orders to return to the States from Germany. His family is spread all over Texas and that is where I first got a taste of American Culture. Banten was een belangrijk handelscentrum in Zuidoost-Azië, vooral voor peper, totdat de Verenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie (VOC) het sultanaat eind 17e eeuw tot een Nederlands protectoraat reduceerde. In het fort Randwijk op Bantam werden in 1670 de engelse verderven door de Hollanders.
