Our energy is an inside job. True feelings of safety begin in the balance of our Root and Earth Star chakras. Our own rootedness in the Earth, and our level of being in our physical body is what assists us in finding safety in BEing in our body. Conditions of the nervous system such as PTSD, depression and anxiety are often appropriate responses to modern life AND they can be highly dysregulating to our nervous systems. The transformation of this Divine Planet Earth begins with the transformation of Self. We can not expect to change what is out there, & the reflection & mirror to show us another picture that has not been cultivated within first. Evolution begins with the commitment & intention to go even higher & be dedicated to spiritual growth. This means having an awareness of your thoughts, emotions & all of the messages you are receiving as you experience challenges. When you sense something is off, dark & heavy, bring light to those areas to assist in this transformation. To move higher rather than being stuck on an issue, bring these circumstances to your side rather than straight in front of you & focus on what you are wanting to occur rather than what you do not wish to. Give your power to the things you want to show up. This is how you demonstrate to the Universe that you are intending to shift even higher & are open to the new now. Your life, as a result, will begin to shift & show you the way up. Your struggles are not insurmountable. You have inner wisdom when you clear out all the voices from out there & develop a relationship with your innermost self. A couple of works on paper from yesterday of the Granite Tors on Dartmoor. A3 I love spending time with these 280 million year old rocks. I remember visiting them as a child and I’ve been instinctively drawn to these rocks (and the river Dart too) when life has been difficult. Sitting on or sheltering in from the rain. Snug in their folds. Lighting candles for the winter Solstice or to remember the dead. They always reset me and I leave lighter and filled with hope. There’s a deep time wisdom. They have also been part of raising my children, games of hide and seek, climbing and picnics. I look forward to reading Weathering by @ruthallen.geotherapist after her talk at @dartingtontrust last week, where she talked about all I’ve felt. Nature connection is so important, for humans and the natural world too. Especially in these times of rapid extinction, climate change and restriction of access of people to their native lands.
