I first attended the #edinburgfestival in 2005 by chance. We were returning from one of the performances lined up for our tour of UK and Wales with the @osunarts and the producer asked us to experience the festival before our next show at #brighton. I was blown away, it was the first time I will see a theatre festival! I had planned to go back but it never happened. Today I performed at the #edinburghfringefestival with 25 other actors from different parts of the world in my room here in Lagos Nigeria - yes everything is even more possible since the pandemic! Who would have thought that with a mobile phone and a few gigabytes of data one could perform all over the world without the hassles typical of such international endeavours. Edinburgh Climate Festival 2021 - Time For Change, art installation by Bibo & Brian Keeley Our artwork consisted of four pods themed respectively around ocean pollution, the negative environmental impact of fast fashion, the importance of soil health, and restorative climate justice. It included an exhibition (photography and marine litter), referenced information relating to the key themes, and the invitation to take action (by sharing personal climate action pledges). We also had a seed giveaway to encourage people to protect and enhance native biodiversity and soil health, and promote food growing. Thanks to Edinburgh Climate Festival @edclimatefest for selecting us to be part of the event, and to Leith Community Croft @leithcommunitycroft for all the support. We also thank all the volunteers who helped us to carry and assemble the structure and engage with the public on the day. This enabled us to take part in the festival despite our particular circumstances. (I'm an organ transplant recipient and it's still unclear how much immunity Covid-19 vaccinations generate in immuno comprised people.) The festival was "Edinburgh festival" that most biggest theater festival on around the world. I felt "PEACE" there. Because a lot of people come from all over the world. Of course, both of performer and audience. The time of they share through some show is a little bit, but we can share a lot of excitement : laughing, crying, surprising. Alike the scenes was very peacefully and beautiful. And I noticed that is one of effects by some arts, I felt possibility and energy of arts. . I met a lot of really nice people. I could communicate with them as really good friend regardless of the nationality and language. They are from all over the world : Europe, America, Asia and Africa. We said "see you again" last year, but we didn't image this situation that we can't move each other.. . I think. "HAPPINESS" and "PEACE" might are in our daily small life that we usually don't notice. But they made by continues of very precious moments and miracle. .
