There is no greater feeling in this world than being mom. Looking at her face light up when she figures something out, watching her learn new things, seeing her transform into more of a person every day, it’s a dream. For over an hour, nothing I did would keep her from being fussy, simply because she LOVES to fight sleep. How could I make her sleep schedule turn into 6+ hours a night, she was days old at this point?! As nights went on, we tried reading, bubble baths (with and without night time soap), swaying to soothe, but nothing was working. Then, 💡 I tried a drop of lavender on her onesie, that night she slept from 8-2:30, without a peep. Y’all she was a month old. — Today, she is about 7 1/2 months old and she sleeps 6-10 hours every night. Over the last 24 hours, #RosemarieRea has had a HUGE leap. She has learned how to pull herself up on EV-ER-Y-THING so we had to drop the crib last night. She has entered her “separation anxiety” stage. She is teething so hard. She can go from laying to sitting to back to laying without help. She doesn’t like naps. This pic is what started my oil journey 13 years ago. We had been in Bosnia for two months when my 9 month old got sick. I was a new mom and had nothing to help her. This is on the plane home.
