✨MY CLEANING SYSTEMS✨ So here's the thing, I don't necessarily follow a cleaning "schedule" - but I do, however, use a systems approach to keeping our house together. 👉There are *a lot* of ideas out there for a cleaning schedule (like floors Monday, bathrooms Tuesday, etc.) but personally this has never worked for me 🤷 I like to think in terms of the flow of the day. For example: here's a system I follow pretty much every day: ⭐ Kids take a bath ⭐ While kids are in the tub I wipe down the counters/mirrors if needed ⭐Once kids are done (and all their clothes are done being stained for the day), I throw the laundry in and run it while they brush teeth, etc. I've found that running this small load every night makes laundry much more manageable. And starting laundry at the END of the day, after they're done spilling things & playing in the dirt, helps keep me from having to do laundry at random points throughout the day. ⏩ Similar to my system with laundry, I load up the dishwasher throughout the day & run it after dinner. My husband empties it in the morning before he leaves for work so we always start the day with an empty dishwasher 🙌 ⭐ And here's the thing about these systems: I also have days where I just can't, and laundry piles up, and I'm barely getting dressed or cooking real food, etc. WE ALL DO 🙆 But when I'm feeling back to my usual on-top-of-things-self, I can jump back into my usual home management flow 👍 Share your cleaning tips with me below! So another year has passed and what a year it was! I was awarded merch lead of the year at work,which was a great surprise.I worked my butt off,thats for sure.I trained more staff than ever before and travelled to over 40 stores. Crazy ,busy year. Looking forward to yet another one. Aaron had a great year with all his comps and organising his own tournament at his club. Sarah had a full on year, graduating with her masters in teaching,starting her full time teaching position and moving out of home.Cali even took her to S.A to snatch a W in her solo comp and she competed in trio comps for the first time. Liam got his learners,left school and started his fulltime apprenticeship. Thankfully the good times outweigh the bad and sometimes sad times.Family is everything. Spent the past week fully cozied up in the cold & unplugged with the fam. It was everything my soul needed. ❄️🫶🏼🍂🧸🤍🥧 Over the last few months, I spent 80% of my weekends away from my fam traveling + shooting. And while I love what I do - being away from them nearly every weekend this fall had me craving time together. Hence one of my biggest things for 2024 is traveling more WITH my babies & with Connor. See beautiful places & make unforgettable memories. 🤎 The years are flying by faster than I could have ever imagined & I know that if I don’t plan the trips, vacations & travels - they’ll be put off & who knows if they’ll ever happen.
