Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong and it if you were to tell me before I got started all of the issues we would run into I may have hesitated on saying yes to this Epic Journey. How many times do we do that, we hesitate to say yes to what we want because we are afraid of getting the things that we don’t want. Here is an unpopular opinion. In order to get what you do want, it means putting up with some things that you don’t want. Nepal INTO THE MIND collection🙏🏽 ~~~ From @expedition.studios: This Nepal segment for the #IntoTheMind feature doc was one our most memorable shoots of all time. @expedition.studios Director @renan_ozturk alongside @sherpascinema Director @davemossop and athlete @bushywayne set out for a cultural and time-lapse adventure at the roof of the world. When they arrived in the Khumbu/Mt Everest region the weather was terrible for weeks and so they ended up spending day after day with Renan’s old friend Karma Tsering, one of the oldest members of the Sherpa community. The unexpected beauty in every detail of Karma’s single room home and his charisma drew them in deeper and deeper. After all, this was not a mission to climb mountains, but to convey more intimate moments with the people who call this place home. Eight years ago, #IntoTheMind was the first major collaboration between @SherpasCinema and the @expedition.studios team and we are lucky to still work and play with them regularly on passion projects as well as commercials!
