A fun night at the SPHS Fashion show. My nephew @drew.matheww was chosen to model and he was fantastic! We watched the great show, talked, laughed, had a wonderful meal and a few drinks. I had a great time connecting over the Easter weekend with friends and family. I also got to visit some bookstores in my city and make some great connections. If you happen to visit Booksamillion, get with the Manager James, whom is very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to books. 12 years of nothing but hard work. As a kid I can remember always thinking that one day I’d be on stage like my dad, and that I would do just as well as he did, and well… I guess I was right. Their are many things that I will have to improve on, but man. Going up on stage was the best feeling I’ve had in a long time, through all my ups and downs I’ve always had a goal, no matter how burled it got because of life, I got up everyday and did the shit I had to do to become better, physically and mentally. Working out isn’t just about training your body to get stronger, it also trains your mind, it teaches you discipline. It shows you that you have to keep at it. That you have to “ACHIEVE FAILURE”. Failing is key to everybody’s success, it shows you your weaknesses and strengths, and how you can build on those weaknesses. Just like the great Ronnie said “everybody wants to be a bodybuilder, BUT NOBODY WANTS TO LIFT NO HEAVY ASS WEIGHTS!” So keep at your dreams, because there will always be someone who’s wants it more than you, so you got to out shine them and be better. Don’t make any more excuses on why you can’t do that thing you keep putting off, get up and do the shit you need to do, work towards your best life and you will have a great time trying to achieve it. PART 1 I was certainly tested this year. Patience were running thin all season. Farming and ranching isn’t a guarantee success every year. And I certainly didn’t think we were going to be at the end. All summer I kept saying “take a picture because this is probably going to be our last year doing this” I was not confident for the fall market to hold as well as it did. But then. The last 2 months it seemed like it would. And through all the suffering and headaches, broken bones, diseases and breakdowns! man when you can Smell the goal line! Its all just words. That final push at the end made a difference and my biggest year ever sent us over the top.
