IS IT HOT GIRL SUMMER YET??? Can it be summer already please??? Today make 3 weeks post op. So I decided to film my 3 week follow up for YouTube. I was like hey I need to try on a couple of swim suits. I was amazed already at how freaking good I look. The incision easily hides under these bottoms. I remember I had pictures from when I got this suit back in April. So take those pictures when you are feeling down. Go back and put them side by side. I know I have lost some muscle which is expected since I’m not working out. What matters is what you think of yourself. Your opinion is what matters so make sure it’s a positive one babes. Arugula with wild albacore tuna packed in olive oil with a hard boiled egg, guacamole, heirloom cherry tomatoes and olives drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, fresh lemon juice and seasoned with a sea salt blend and chopped parsley. Good things take time . Are you good at motivating yourself? . The same pants - but there is about half a year between the pictures. Often I was so frustrated because I just didn't go fast enough. But I've learned that we need to give our bodies time. After all, the kilos didn't come on within a few days either Even if it's the most beautiful kilos that have come through pregnancy so far, I'm glad to be rid of them again  Just never lose motivation, a year later you will regret it if you gave up. Chili Lime Shrimp Salad 🔥🥑🍤🌶 Because you're gonna require several QUICK, EASY, fresh meals that are straight 🔥 fire, to keep in your arsenal this Summer! You've got just a few minutes?...You've got enough time make this! I used my large cast iron pan for those nice charred edges on the shrimp! I bet they'd turn our awesome with a few minutes on the grill, if you don't want to heat up your kitchen. makes 4 servings Ingredients: 1 lb. raw shrimp, peeled and deveined 6-8 small red chilies 1 Tablespoon avocado oil, or olive oil 8 cups mixed baby organic greens 1 large avocado, chopped and drizzled with fresh lime juice to prevent browning 1 English cucumber, chopped 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved 1 small red onion, sliced For the dressing & marinade: 4 Tbsps olive oil, or avocado oil 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp smoked paprika 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 2 small limes, juiced 1 tsp raw honey sea salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste (about an 1/8 teaspoon each) Instructions: Start by whisking all the dressing/marinade ingredients in a small bowl. Add 1/3 of the mixture over your raw shrimp and gently stir to coat. Marinate for at least 15 minutes if time allows. Set aside the remaining, untouched, unused dressing to toss later with salad. Heat 1 Tablespoon oil in a large non-stick pan (I used cast iron for that nice blacked flavor and color) over medium heat and once hot, and pan is evenly coated with oil; add in your marinated shrimp, and chilies in a single layer. Saute shrimp and chilies for just 3-4 minutes, or until opaque in color. Season with sea salt and pepper to your taste, then stir well to coat. If time allows, refrigerate/marinate for 15 minutes or so, covered. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until just pink, about 3-4 minutes In a very large bowl add cooked shrimp, diced avocado, cilantro, chili slices, juice of 1 lime and remaining oil. Gently stir to combine. Taste test and season with a pinch of sea salt and pepper of needed. Add spoonfuls of the avocado shrimp mixture lettuce leaves as shown, and enjoy.
