On Monday night we flew up to Darwin 🐊🏝️ I can’t believe we’re still in the same country - the weather is crazy different, the landscapes, the roads! We’re 3,700km from home and yet still in Australia. This place is HUGE! It was a rough flight with grumpy kids but a grumpier mum! It’s the shortest flight the kids have ever been on at around 4.5 hours, but to me felt like the longest 😞 The kids were pretty good really, a bit over excited at the airport and Reid being just over 2 is at the worst age to fly, but even so they all slept on the flight. I didn’t rate the customer service on the flight AT ALL and we really struggled waking the kids up to get off the flight with our bags and staff were plain rude. But we got here! And then I spent the next few days feeling so ill with flu like symptoms in this crazy heat and humidity, I wished we’d never came, I cried, I slept, I cried, but luckily for Uber deliveries and the pool out the back we made it through, and are all back on our feet and exploring now! 📍7 Bridges Trail, Grant Park, Milwaukee Located in the south part of Milwaukee, this family friendly hike is an absolute must do! 👉🏻 Save this post for your next trip to Milwaukee! ✨ The main loop of the hike is just over 1 mile round trip, but there are several additional paths you can take if you’re looking for a more challenging hike. ✨ The path is kid friendly, but does have several sets of stairs and would be hard to maneuver with a stroller or wagon. ✨ Even though it’s named 7 bridges, there are actually 10! They are nestled among huge trees and lush foliage, and the trail runs alongside a small stream. ✨ The hike ends by leading you out of the trees onto a secluded sandbar right on Lake Michigan. ✨ Enjoy wading in the crystal clear water, playing in the sand, and collecting sea glass. V Prestatynu jsme bydleli ve velkém rodinném domě, který jsme měli celý pro sebe, kromě dvou místností, kam jsme neměli přístup jsme měli k dispozici, celé spodní patro s velkou kuchyní propojenou s obývacím pokojem a jídelnou s proskleným stropem. Dvorek a zahradu se zahradním nábytkem, kde jsme docela často jestli. Do Británie jsme se vydali na koni, tedy obrazně. Náš vůz, který nám na test půjčil @ford_cr byl totiž Mustang Mach-E, skvělý elektromobil s perfektní výbavou, velkou baterií a exkluzivním dojezdem na jedno nabití. Cesta Evropou tak s více než 500 kilometry v baterii na jedno nabití byla parádní jízda! Svištěli jsme po německých dálnicích, plavili se na trajektu, jeli na vlaku pod Lamanšským kanálem, prolétali se uličkami středověkých měst a vesnic v Británii, jezdili vlevo, dojeli na konec světa... Ujeli jsem přes 5000 kilometrů bez jediného problému...
