Kisgyerekkel a Guyanákba? Ti normálisak vagytok?🤪🙌☀️🌴🐊🐍 Kérdezhetné az, aki nem ismer még minket, de aki ismer, már nem teszi😂 Gyerekkel utazni mindig egy kicsit kihívás. Nekünk elég sok tapasztalatunk van, hiszen összesen már 58 országban jártunk együtt az 5,5 éves Poldival. A Guyanák (Guyana, Suriname, Francia Guyana) - eléggé kívül esik a gyerekes utazók látköréből, sőt, még a sima kalandor utazókéból is, mi mégis belevágtunk. Olvastunk blogokat és próbáltunk felkészülni, de nem tudtuk, pontosan mire számíthatunk.🌏 A valóságban pedig nagyon-nagyon gyermekbarát országok ezek IS. Mindenhol nagyon kedvesek voltak, észrevették Pold szőkeségét, de nem kezdték el fogdosni, tapogatni, amit néhány országban már tapasztaltunk. Sok helyen találtunk hatalmas, izgalmas játszótereket, ahol a szülők és a gyerekek is sokszínűek és befogadóak volt. Poldi azonnal talált barátokat, játszótársakat. Volt olyan étterem, ahová beültünk és Poldit áthívták a szomszéd asztalhoz kártyázni, vagy aki már másodszor találkozott vele azzal rögvest pacsiztak. Az utazások során nem kértek felárat, ha az ölünkben ült, de a hosszabb utakra neki is vettünk ülést, amit mindig baráti áron számoltak. Minden stoppolásnál szinte azonnal felvettek és figyeltek ránk. Érződött a család tisztelete🙏 Úgy tapasztaltuk az egész út során, hogy nagyobb biztonságban vagyunk és könnyebben boldogulunk így hármasban, mintha egyedül utaztunk volna. Nem volt semmi olyan akadály, amit ne tudtunk volna hármasban megoldani, nem volt olyan program, amit ki kellett hagynunk mert gyerekkel vagyunk. Nyilván mi is figyeltünk egymásra és volt, amikor játszótereztünk ahelyett, hogy valami helyi dolgot néztünk volna, de ez így tökéletesen rendben is van. Ilyenkor szusszantunk mi is egy kicsit és csak hálásak tudunk lenni, hogy Poldi ilyen jó útitárs volt - a Guyanákban is (az olyan izgibb helyszínekhez hasonlóan mint pl Irak, El Salvador vagy éppen Szváziföld).🌴 Ti miért szerettek gyerekkel utazni? Hol tapasztaltátok, hogy mennyire család/gyerekszerető népek vannak a világon?😍🌍

Következő úti cél: Örményország 🇦🇲🥳 A gépről leszállva egyből fogad minket az ország nemzeti szimbóluma, az Ararát látványa. Ami igaz, ma már Törökország területén fekszik. Utazásunk idején még nem volt direktjárat Budapest és Jereván között, de jó hír az ország iránt érdeklődők számára, hogy már nem kell sokat várni, hamarosan direktjárat is indul 🤩 Mi viszont átszállással érkeztünk, Ciprusi megállóval. Grúzia után most újra itt vagyunk a térségben, a kaukázusi régió egyik országát felfedezni. Az élmény még friss, és tömény kalandok sora ért minket három kisgyerekkel, az ország különböző részeit felfedezve. Különleges és felejthetetlen élmények, az biztos. 🌊🇬🇾A világ egyik legcsodásabb zuhataga*: Kaieteur-vízesés🇬🇾🌊 Guyanai látogatásunk fő oka a Kaieteur-vízesés volt és tervek szerint reggel mentünk fizetni az igencsak borsos repjegyet, hogy délután repüljünk a dzsungel közepére a világ legnagyobb egyzuhatagú vízeséséhez, ahol másodpercenként 663 m3 víz esik le a 251 m mélységbe. A magasság és a vízhozama is nagyobb a Niagaránál🌊 Amikor azonban fizeni szerettünk volna, a szervező sajnálattal közli, hogy a délutáni repülés elmarad, mert valaki visszamondta. Szóhoz sem jutottunk és csak ültünk lefagyva. Akkor most mi lesz? Megkérem a szervezőt, hogy hívja fel a többi szolgáltatót, de vagy nem repültek, vagy tele voltak. Közben jött egy amerikai páros, akik elvileg velünk jöttek volna. Ők másnap repülnek haza és ezért az útért már egyszer áttették a jegyüket. Addig maradtunk, míg fel nem hívattuk a szervező főnökét, aki duzzogva, de mégis engedte a repülést kevesebb utassal. Sajnos ezen nem lesz profit! -mondja a csaj, de ez minket nem hat meg, inkább egymás nyakába ugrunk, Timi még el sírja magát örömében🥹😭😅 ✈️Maga a repülő is egy kuriózum volt a maga három légcsavarával és matuzsálemi korával, de az repülés is párját ritkítja. A dzsungel felett repülve láttuk a hatalmas bauxit és aranybányákat, melyek sokszor illegálisak és javarészt kínai kézben vannak. A katasztrófafilmek szoktak így kezdődni, de szerencsére jó idő volt és a mindentől távol, a föld egyik legöregebb lemezén burjánzó őserdő közepén felbukkan egy hatalmas vízesés! Beleborsózik a hátunk! Hát mér megint milyen csodához van szerencsénk? Egy rövid túrával közelebb sétálunk. Hömpölygő víz, fülsüketítő zuhanás, sikító csattanás, előpattanó szivárvány, lebegő cseppecskék, párás illat és végtelen energia. Itt vagyunk. Ő is itt van. Köszönjük a találkozást!🥹🙏🇬🇾 Van egy tábla, ahol a látogatók számát tüntetik fel - egy év alatt jönnek el ide annyian, mint a Machu Picchura 2 nap alatt. A keményebbek 3-4 napos túrával is eljuthatnak ide, amire sajnos nem volt időnk, de már most tudjuk: a Guyanákba még vissza kell térnünk.... Ki hallott már a Kaieteur vízesésről, ki látogatná meg?🇬🇾🌊

Látogatás az Észak-ciprusi Török Köztársaságba és a világ egyetlen ketté osztott fővárosába, Nicosiába (Lefkosia) 3 kisgyerekkel 😍 szakadó esőben ☔️🤪 Az 1974-ben görög és török részre osztott városnak a török részére útlevéllel (vagy személyi igazolvánnyal) tudunk átlépni, ugyanis Ciprus fővárosa két országhoz is tartozik. Igaz, az egyiket csak egyetlen ország ismeri el a világon: Törökország. Sokáig egyébként nem volt szabad átjárás a két ország között, 2003 óta lehetséges a határátkelés. A görög oldalon leparkoltuk a bérautót, majd a Ledra nevű sétálóutca felé indultunk gyalog, az ottani határátkelőhöz. A török részre belépve kerestünk egy étkezdét, ahol finom török ételeket kóstoltunk. Még bárányt is kaptunk, amit imádunk! Az eső nem akart elállni, de így is folytattuk sétánkat a városban. Szerencsére fel voltunk készülve @mobiuscarrierfashion esőkabátokkal a gyerekeknek (*ajándék). Felkerestük a Selimiye mecsetet, majd a Buyuk hant, Ciprus legnagyobb karavánszeráját, melyet 1572-ben építettek az oszmánok. Itt kézműves termékeket is tudunk vásárolni. Pár óra bolyongás után éreztük, hogy elég volt ennyi időt tölteni a szakadó esőben, és örültünk, hogy picit átérezhettük a török hangulatot. A görög oldalt is érdemes megnézni, ha erre jár valaki, ugyanis ez Ciprus kulturális központja. Összességében érdemes felkeresni az Európai Unió legdélkeletibb fővárosát, és még jobb, ha épp nem szakad az eső😄 Így sem panaszkodom, mert ez volt az egyetlen teljesen esős napunk, a többiben mindig kaptunk legalább pár óra napsütést ☺️ Ti jártatok már itt? 🇬🇾Georgetown: a csatornabűzös, szemétben úszó utcáktól a lamantinokig🇬🇾 Guyana fővárosa (szemben Parbóval) nem tartozik a legszebbek vagy leghangulatosabbak közé, és akkor még eléggé finoman fogalmaztam🙈, de azért itt is van mit nézni. Tényleg valahogy sokkal nyersebb világ ez, mint a szomszédos Suriname első látásra...de azért hajrá: ⛪️A városlátogatást a Szent György Katedrálissal kezdtük, ami sajnos zárva volt, de így is nagyon impozáns látványt nyújtott. Ez elvileg a világ nyugati felének egyik legmagasabb fából készült katedrálisa a maga 43,5 méterével (a parbói 44m). 🏫Éppen nyitva volt az ingyenesen látogatható Guyana Múzeum, ami történelmileg és élővilág szempontjából is bemutatja az országot, sőt, még régi magyar filléreket is találtunk kiállítva benne🪙 🏫Az egyik leghangulatosabb hely a Stabroek Market. Jó kis neve van! Nem véletlen a hollandos hangzás, mert holland uralom alatt egy hollandról kapta a nevét. A piac maga nem más, mint a szokásos kínai jellegű nyüzsgés, de e bónuszként fel lehet mászni a piac tornyába, ami sokkal kalandosabb, mint gondolnánk. A lépcső rozsdás, láthatóan nincs használatban, maga a torony is egy valódi időutazás hangulatát eleveníti fel és fent, minta egy mesében lennénk, amikoris a gonosz elől menekülve menedéket találunk az elhagyott toronyban. ⚓️A tengerparton ipari létesítmények között rátaláltunk egy világítótoronyra, ami éppen renoválás alatt volt. Az ipari beütés a bauxitbányászattal van összefüggésben. 🌴A Nemzeti Parkban öröm volt látni a sok sportolót, de minket inkább a tavakban élő lamantinok etetése kötött le, mert képzeljétek, Poldi egész életében nem etetett még lamantint….eddig. Tudjátok, ha megkérdezik, hogy 5 évesen etetett-e lamantint Guyanában, ne kelljen már azt mondania, hogy nem😅 Nem volt nagy elvárásunk Georgetown irányában, nem is lepett meg bennünket, de egy igazán kellemes napot töltöttünk el, kevésbé volt para, mint sok beszámoló alapján vártuk🙏 Ki hallott már Georgetownról?🇬🇾🇬🇾 Ui.: képekért lapozzatok! A Guyanák Guyanája, a holland és a francia után üdv a britben🇬🇾🥳 Már eljutni is kalandos volt Guyanába - kezdve azzal, hogy ide még régivágású vízum kell, ami 3x40usd volt és az elintézése Parbóban 3 napot vett igénybe (egy kis könyörgéssel, Európa-és gyerekkártyával😅). Így megkaptuk idén a 36., 37. és 38. vízumokat itt😀. Kell amúgy a sárgaláz oltás is, enélkül tényleg nem engednek be az országba, aminek 90%a dzsungel. Csak még egyszer röviden: van a Francia Guyana, ami Franciaország része, tehát EU, van Suriname, ami holland gyarmat volt és van Guyana, ami régebben Brit Guyanaként volt ismert. Az Orinoco folyótól keletre fekszik és a gazdasága brutális mértékben növekszik a kitermelt kőolajnak köszönhetően. Nem véletlenül merült fel területi vita Venezuela és Guyana között hiszen az előbbi igényt tart Esequibo régióra, ami Guyana 2/3-a (amiről a helyiek véleménye egyértelmű: már a kis határkán meg utána a kocsikon is teli volt azzal matricázva minden, hogy We Own Esequibo). A szállodák árai brutálisan magasak, de alapvetően az élet is. Az amerikai kontinensen az egyik legmagasabb a GDP, de ez nem látszódik meg az életszínvonalon. A főváros Georgetown egy lepukkant, csatornabűzös, szemetes város. A lakosság itt is sokszínű, de látszatra sokkal több a fekete és az indiai, és állítólag a köztük lévő feszkó is itt sokkal durvább, mint a szomszédban. Maga az ország is sokkal nyersebb első benyomásokra. A hivatalos nyelv az angol, de olyan dialektus, amire nagyon figyelnünk kell, hogy megértsük. Tömegközlekedés itt is nagyon moderált, szinte nincs is. Szerencséra a multikulti az éttermek kínálatban is tükröződik, így bőséges a választék a kínaiaktól az indiaiig. Ismét sikerült egy országba eljutnunk, ami nem igazán felkapott és bizonyos szempontból érthető is. Az utcán messziről méricskélnek bennünket, az emberek hangosak és az első pillanatokban nem feltétlenül éreztük barátságosnak a helyet. Vajon tényleg barátságtalanok emberek vagy lesznek váratlan, kedves történetek? Ti mit tudtok Guyanáról, mit hallottatok róla?🇬🇾

"Szegény" ember riói karneválja, avagy kreol karnevál guyanai módra egy határmenti városban: Jé Farin🤍🖤 "Szeretlek én, Élet, mert te olyan jó vagy hozzám. Ha néha el is vettél, később mindent bepótoltál." Ez a szöveg jutott eszembe, amikor megérkeztünk Saint–Laurentbe, ami Francia Guyana határvárosa (és korábbi fegyenctelep a folyó partján, ahova Pillangó is befutott). Habár szó volt róla, hogy a riói karnevállal zárjuk az egy évünket, végül a Guyanák nyertek, most kicsit itt is bepótolhatjuk, mert a karneváli szezon és a 38napos guyanai karnevál utolsó napján, a fő attrakcióra megérkeztünk eme ikonikus kis határvárosba. A szerencsétlenségünk annyi volt, hogy az összes szálloda tele volt, de persze egy hotelben éppen kifogtuk az utolsó szobát, a végén még kedvezményt is kaptunk mert magyarok vagyunk és a tulaj testvére 8 évig élt nálunk, Budapesten. Az csak hab a tortán, hogy a legjobb helyen vagyunk. Délután kezd gyűlni a tömeg. A csoport egy része a feketénél is feketébben vannak (nèg'marrons, djab rouj az ördögök), a másik része pedig fehér csuklyás ruhában (jé farin, a lisztdobáló). Akik fehérben vannak azok elkezdik kergetni a lányokat, akik lehetnek nézők vagy felvonulók is, és egy marék liszttel belisztezik az arcukat. Ők nyilván köpni-nyelni sem tudtak, de akit nem támadtak meg, az olyan, mintha nálunk nem locsolnak meg valakit. A zenekar nyomatja a zenét és a hangulat egyre csak fokozódik, pedig a környéken nem lehet alkoholt árulni😅 lapozzatok a videókért! Jó kis fesztiváli hangulat, karibi beütéssel és kreol, afrikai, maroon, guyanákbéli hagyományokkal, amit aztán megkoronázhattunk egy étteremben egy tatus vacsorával...hát, köszi, élet, hogy ezt is megtapasztalhattuk❤️🤍🖤 Ki járt Rióban vagy más izgi karneválon már?

There was an Easter Trail on for the children - they both loved wearing their bunny ears, and we completed their woodland trail. There were quite a lot of steps but the children managed them well. There was a tunnel to explore and an easy path to follow that climbed up to provide stunning views over Grasmere before descending down towards the kitchen garden. Dreaming 🌍 I don't know about you but we're getting a bit fed up of ☔ Don't get me wrong...we're incredibly grateful for the life we lead and know how lucky we are. Just watching the news everyday is a reminder of how privileged we are, and how lucky we are to live in this safe corner of the world. However, like so many, we have dreams and we sat and had a coffee this morning and wrote down our wanderlust list. I think it's a midlife thing (am turning 50 this year and it's feels like life has suddenly sped up!). We follow a lot of travel pages...and sometimes it's very easy to get sucked into that Instagram way of life. There is part of me that would love to take a year out and travel the world...but like most people, it's just too big a risk to take. Work, home life, planning for the future... sometimes you have to make the choices that aren't always so exciting! So for the time being...it's lots of dreaming. But sometimes dreaming and planning can be fun too. We made a decision that we're going to aim for Andalucia and Portugal as our next overseas adventure ☺️ It won't be this year as we have to save...but just starting those initial plans makes it feel a little more real!
