Discovering more and more of Washington’s charm with each gig!🎶😄 - Definitely a late post but last weekend I got to perform with the Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra. Additionally I got to explore Wenatchee as well as Leavenworth on our downtime and it has been such an amazing trip! Being surrounded by the mountains, rivers, sun, and fresh air was what I needed since I’m always doing something that keeps me busy. Even if it was a work trip, I still got to enjoy life a bit and see new places I’ll be sure to revisit! LEAVENWORTH: Day 8. We went back to Forestland today. It was supposed to rain in the afternoon, and it did spit sporadically, but we mostly avoided the weather. I walked around the forest and climbed by myself, so I only climbed stuff I felt confident I could climb or protect. I climbed some pretty fun stuff, and tried a couple tough lines. Probably resting tomorrow, then two more climbing days left on the trip! 1. Working on Lock and Load, V5?, an "old-school line that rarely gets done these days". A fun line with a tough mantle on slopers. I did not send. 2. My ascent of Bad Moon Rising, a really fun V2 friction slab. 3. Best attempt on Lock and Load. 4. Today started with another WA Adventure Deck adventure! Neither @preiguy or I had visited Leavenworth yet, but this was a nice, albeit short, intro. The ride through the mountains was a bit rainy, but we had perfect weather by the time we reached our destination - a small family-owned farm where you can feed, and in some cases, pet reindeer. I really liked the animals-first approach that's taken when you enter the enclosure, and it was a delight to see yet another instance of Peter being the favorite of all furry creatures. #DorkusMalorkus #WAADVENTUREBUCKETLIST #Leavenworth

Ingalls Creek Ingalls Creek in Washington's Cascade Mountains is utterly beautiful throughout the year. In summer, it is surrounded by tall granite mountains and lined with millions of subalpine and montane wildflowers. In winter with fresh snow, it provides a view that's hard to beat. This particular section of the creek was found by accident while following a downy woodpecker through the snow on a chilly late January afternoon.
