My virtual friend @birdies.bipolar.brain recently shared a reel about Things she does while manic, that was quite relatable. It prompted me to write this post. While I do know a lot of negative things can come out of manic episodes, because I’ve been there personally, there are also some super hilarious experiences I’ve had while manic, in hindsight of course. Here’s one of those experiences I’ve had, and I encourage you to share any comical moments you’ve had from past manic episodes, in the comments. I know hearing from others, who have bipolar disorder, always helps keep feel less alone. Without further ado, my funny story: One time I called Bosley for hair loss during a manic episode in the middle of the night, even though I had a full head of hair that was not going anywhere! I’m not sure why, but I was adamant that I was losing my hair. This is totally funny now, but was completely bonkers at the time. Just ask my husband, who was there and was totally confused. 29/04/1024 ~ wow, what a long day. I was up before 6 am. as I had to go into the office to collect something for one of the volunteers. I stayed there for a couple of hours before heading to one of our sites to do an induction. I worked from home for the rest of the day, but the early start and travelling have wiped me out. I wasn't very productive this afternoon, but I managed to get a few things done and out of the way. It's been really lovely having my little cuddle buddy A home. The weather has been so lovely today, so when we went out this afternoon, we stayed out longer just to make the most of the sunshine. We are both absolutely pooped now and will be having lots of cuddles before a nice early night. Tomorrow is relatively busy, and even though I could really do with a lie in, there's no chance of that as I have to get A out before I go to the hygienist and then I have therapy in the afternoon. I'm hoping that the weather is going to be just like today, maybe with a little less wind, though! It's been so strong at times today and has almost been a little chilly.
