Brand new rooftop bar for @selina Berlin by the light @marinazumi ⚡️⚡️⚡️ — Marina Zumi is a Argentinian multi-interdisciplinary artist living in Berlin for over 5 years. The artist began her career in South America inspired by Neo-Muralism, painting Intuitive Nature themes in contraposition to the polluted streets. Her latest body of work are the Site Specific Light Installations, evolving in temporary Public Art pieces and in-studio new sculptures and bi-dimensional sculptural artworks. Argentinos pisando fuerte. ¿Conocen a Marina Zumi? . Es una artista urbana que la viene rom-pien-do con sus murales. Ella estudió Diseño de Indumentaria en la Universidad de Buenos Aires, actualmente reside en Brasil pero sus obras las pueden ver en Londres, Nueva York y Berlín (por nombrar algunas ciudades). . ❣️Marina es una convencida de la conexión mente/espíritu, un equilibrio que se plasma en sus murales los cuales tiene un fuerte énfasis en la simetría y en las proporciones correctas. Pinta animales (a veces fantásticos) y el cosmos utilizando colores brillantes, el resultado es una obra serena e iluminada. A pesar de que en ocasiones utiliza colores oscuros, sus obras irradian luz, traen paz y tranquilidad. El vínculo con lo natural es muy estrecho, y resalta ese costado femenino de la obra. Otro rasgo interesante es su conocimiento en física cuántica, disciplina que (en líneas generales) explica los fenómenos desde lo no visible. . Otra cosa ➡️ nuestra chica cose y hace arte bordado (no se olviden que estudio diseño de modas), desarrolló una colección a la cual llamó “Concrete Art”.
