Foodie Filofax reviews: @roxyballroom Booze, Bites and Ball Games 🍻🍕🎳 [Invite] If I said Roxy Ballroom to you, I’m sure your mind would go straight to the games. From American Pool, to Bowling, to Beer Pong, there are an array of activities to keep you busy. But I’ve gotta tell you, the Booze and the Bites on offer are pretty great too! BOOZE 🍸 Roxy offer a pretty impressive selection of cocktails.. For my fruity martini lovers, you’ve gotta try Living on a Pear and Purple Haze - just gorgeous. Or if it’s a hot day like we had, and you want to cool down, the Mardy Bum or Fields Forever would be an excellent choice. We both opted for a G&T with our food, and the Botanic G&T was so refreshing. BITES 🍕The Nduja and Hot Honey focaccia pizza was a winner for me… from the crispy crust, to the generous toppings, it had that really rustic look and went down an absolute treat. We also shared some small dishes on the side, which I loved. Choose 3 for £15 for the perfect accompaniment to your meal... we went for the Chilli Cheese Bites, the Kickin’ Popcorn Chicken, and the Loaded Roxy Fries (because everything is better with Baconnaise). Again, big fan of all of these, but the Chicken had to be my fave. Tossed in sriracha mayo, and finished with lime and hot honey, these were super tasty - moist and full of flavour. Delish 😋 BALLGAMES 🎳 I really enjoyed the Duck Pin bowling once I got the hang of it (literally only managed to knock down one pin on my first go lol) With a shorter lane, and smaller pins and balls, I actually think it’s easier to master than normal bowling… not that I won 🤣 We then moved on to Crazy Pool, and after a couple of practice goes (shhh, it’s not cheating) I even managed a couple of holes in one! With so much on offer, this spot is a great choice for a mate date, a date date, or even a work night out! A real one stop shop for a great night!
