Midnight Pleasure: @claudiaaauthor Once again, happy release day Claudia! 💙 MP is a Prince x Wedding Planner romance that I got the opportunity to beta read and immediately intrigued me -especially as a royal romance trope because I do love a good royalty storyline 👑 Plus, Emily (the FMC), being a wedding planner was a job type I've not read before I don't think, so it was fun to see details about her actual job whilst reading. Emily has built herself up to become a strong woman who's confident in her abilities, because of her past. Which is needed when going up against those in the royal palace. We see from the beginning she's completely against being in a committed relationship herself, yet she can't resist the man who Prince Dale shows her he is. Dale has a much more privileged upbringing in comparison and is more than happy to go along with his arranged marriage to long-term friend, Hannah. That all changes when he meets Emily though. I think people will definitely enjoy the forbidden aspect to Emily and Dale's relationship... Whilst it does kind of come across as cheating, it's also technically not because as the reader, we can see the bigger picture even when the characters themselves might not! There was one plot line with this that slowly begins to reveal itself as the story goes on. And I was straight into Claudia's DM's asking if the thread that I'd picked up on was going to play out as I suspected lool! 😅 However, what I loved, (even though I did ask her for spoilers because I couldn't resist 💀), is that I wasn't able to guess the full plot point -so it still kept me intrigued. #미드나잇플레져 #MIDNIGHTPLEASURE #프레슈 #검은숲속으로 솔잎과 산딸기가 주재료인 프레슈가 너무 궁금해서 다시 방문했다. 높은 호기심과 다르게 딱히 특별한 차이가 있는 맛은 아니었다. 안은 아몬드크림 필링이 들어있어 클래식한 과일 타르트맛이다. 내가 솔향을 잘 몰라서 못 느낀 건지 잘 모르겠지만 시원한 풀향을 예상했는데 상상과는 달랐다. 검은숲으로는 사실 포레누아인데 한글로 부르니 더 고급스러운 느낌을 준다. 사르르 녹는 초콜렛에 체리의 상큼함과 가나슈의 달콤씁쓸함이 어우러져 조합이 매우 좋았다. 초코롤의 초고급 버전 같은 맛이다. 익숙한 맛보다는 독특하고 새로운 맛의 디저트를 더 선호해서 취향에는 맞지 않지만 아름다운 디저트의 비주얼에 자꾸 끌려오는 곳이다. 20230529
