She's back from the dead 💀 My car got broken into on NYE (😭) so my car had big knife holes in the roof and a smashed in window for the past month! This has been my dream car for years, so I was devastated 🥺 Mechanic quotes were way too expensive, so my fabulous friend and her partner came to the rescue. December PT2🎄✨ 1 & 2 - H birthday celebrations 🎉 3 & 4 - Late birthday lunch at the lovely Giggling squid. The food was incredible and one our new favourites for Thai food! 5- The birthday celebrations carried on in the evening and we went over to @rhswisley glow event which we always love doing every year! December PT 1🎄✨ It’s been a busy month full of amazing moments! 1- we finally got round to putting up the decs and Xmas tree after H came home! We wanted to do our tree colour based on whether baby was 💗 or 💙 as we wanted a special Christmas tree gender reveal! 2- the outdoor decs went up too (our poor reindeer only wanted to light up half way😢) we also brought some battery lights to go up the path from dunelm which are totally still not out at the moment🙈 3- A little bit of baking! The cakes turned out well considering we had no electric whisk and had to hand whisk it all! I know the icing looks very questionable but it tasted lovely… we are no bakers 😂 4- Family time before Christmas, Game of monopoly 5, 6 and 7 - We all went to the @bathsoftcheese Christmas market and looked at all the lovely stalls, food stalls and goodies. A lot of lovely fudge was consumed by me as that’s all I could have or try 😅 Then we popped in to the barn to see the calves! They even had free donkey rides and Stan was super happy to be able to have a go at riding. 8,9,10- We had a two night getaway to the New Forest @sandyballsholidays, we had the best time! The holiday resort was incredible and the caravan we stayed in was so so lovely with incredible views. The one full day we had there it absolutely tipped down so we went for a brief explore and walk to Good Friday hill and then got warm and cosy back in the caravan. We will defo be re booking to go back in the near future and definitely for longer next time! Day 5: Making a house a home. 🤍 I brought this for my OH when he first joined up because it seems so fitting and I'm sure all the military families will agree 🫶 As long as we're together, I'm home. But I'm also a clutter queen so all my little bibs and bobs make me feel at home. I love adding things that remind me of my family home like as this bird hanging. Day 3: A posting I love/d 🫶 I love our current posting. Our one before this wasn't really a posting to me as we were in the thick of covid so he wasn't working, and we were private renting. 🏠 Whereas now, we're in quarters and we're really in the thick of military life which I actually love. Hello! As you have probably noticed from the last couple of months, I’ve been much more quiet with posting or hopping on stories than I usually have been in the past. There of course has been a special reason as to why and I’ve been keeping a little secret and feel ready to share our happy news with you all! We are both super excited for our new adventure and chapter ahead and have been feeling so over joyed with happiness and love, we couldn’t be happier❤️ Of course it wouldn’t be Army life if we haven’t already been faced with military life challenges with Hubby already currently overseas (hopefully back just before December🤞🏻) so it’s taken me extra time to feel ready to post this on here🤍 On another note, I recognise how such news can resonate differently for everyone. I've been in those shoes. Whilst this page remains a mixture of my life, navigating military life and dealing with being apart from my husband at times, I may at times also post of this incoming adventure and stories from the last few weeks will sometimes be on here.
