I wanted to post this. Yesterday (6/14/23) I was feeling a little off. I had gone most the day doing stuff but not fully meeting my goals I had set in place for myself. I had already it it in my head that I could not meet them and set my watch goals back to 800 on move instead of 900, and 30 on my exercise instead of my 45. I had already considered myself defeated for the day. Later on in the evening Mike and I decided to go for a walk. I took a radline to give me an extra boost. Once I was on my walk I felt my determination set in and realized that yes I can make my goals before the end of the night. I kicked but on my goals and my steps. Point to this is never let defeat win. All natural, no filters, no makeup, this is me! So, Back in January I had kidney surgery for some large stones. I had a tube in my back and was allergic to the adhesive holding bandages in place. Which caused some of my healing to take longer. I was off my feet for 6-8 weeks. I pretty much fell off the wagon on my eating and fell back into old habits. I ended up gaining 30 lbs back. Which put me at 238 lbs. I was slowly working on getting back to better eating. But was fooling myself. Since May 31st (and through our Pruvit event “MORE”)today I have lost 12 lbs that I had gained back. I have had temptations but have not budged on them. I am working on a better me for my future and for my families future. I will be starting a summer slim down on June 12th and continuing my weight loss journey to loose (let me rephrase that, weight removal journey, )an additional 76 lbs. "I am not trying to get skinny...I am trying to take up space" A little thinner but so much stronger and faster 🏃🏿♀️🏋🏿♀️💖The last few months have been a rollercoaster such a freaking thrill😁 The way my body has endured and transformed amazes me, I remember at first I just wanted to get over postpartum depression and reclaim my body after pregnancy 7 and 8, and almost dying, but then I found myself and my journey became so much more and I more than found myself! You are what you eat and I love to eat! You see that Mickey mouse breakfast? My kids had no idea it was all plant based 😁🌱🍌🍇🍈🍉🍊🍒🍑🍐🍏🍎🥥🥭🍅🍋🥬🥦🌽🍆🍠🥑🥒🥔🥕🥜🤤🤤🤤 I went foraging ( shopping) to add some new items and re-up on some faves! I am in love with @pickybars products for breakfast and fuel and I am tweaking my diet ( lifestyle) to include more of everything! More protein, more carbs and gasp more fat! 😲 It seems my last training cycle ( the marathon I forgot to sign up for😳) was successful at getting the prs in all of my shorter distances but I also lost a bit of muscle mass while, running and burning ( ok dad you were right!) Soooo because I am extra cold right now and my clothes keep slipping down lol I am back to food and iron (heavy heavy weights)...Lots of food and iron...
