Oriunda de um formato mais urbano, de pedais longos e até mesmo de cicloviagem, é datada da mesma época do boom do mtb, onde as marcas exploraram a exportação de bikes para todo o mundo e, no brasil, as marcas “importadas” - através das lojas e seus representantes trouxeram diversos modelos de bicicletas de mountain bike e de estrada, mas modelos híbridos nunca foram o foco por aqui. Marcas nacionais produziam modelos de passeio e infantis, também imitaram a onda das bmx e mtbs (nos anos 90), porém como o projeto de bicicleta como mobilidade urbana nunca despontou numa estratégia política nacional, modelos assim são (o correto seria “eram”) raros de se encontrar por nossas terras. - essa bicicleta, por exemplo, foi o único exemplar que tive conhecimento até hoje de estar rodando por aqui, obviamente o antigo dono importou ela. Atualmente vivemos mum momento de exploração maior da cidade através das bicicletas, e me enche o peito em saber que a cada dia se tornam mais comuns os adeptos da bicicleta como meio de transporte, e que modelos mais funcionais como este acabam tomando conta das ruas, de fácil e ágil condução, alta capacidade de carga, robustez e versatilidade.
