Talk to Me, 2022: Talk to Me is an Australian ghost horror movie and a damn effective one, too. The scare effects are high, and the idea of people using an embalmed hand for channeling spirits is brilliant. My only complaint with the movie is that it becomes too complicated to understand, and that's a pity - because I love the scary parts very much. I'm a bit disappointed, because the movie is scary but I wished for more! Score: 3,5 out of 5. We recently watched THE DRY, an Aussie crime/thriller/drama/mystery starring Eric Bana, {who does not Hulk out or get his ears Chopped off ~ gold star if you get these references ⭐️} as a man returning to his hometown for a friend’s funeral. Said friend supposedly killed his family then committed suicide. You might have guessed by now, this film is slim on the jokes. Okay, it’s as serious as a heart attack, and not only that, it’s quite slow-paced too. Other than a child being murdered there are other sad things in this film, so if you’re prone to depression, I’d say fire up Step Brothers and give this a miss 😂🦄

Sharp Havana Brown Liam Seymour Review: So, is The Wog Boy trilogy, Australia’s own answer to Richard Linklater’s Before trilogy? Hell, even Kevin Smith’s Clerks films would be somewhat more appropriate in terms of comparison. A trilogy in which we return to these two characters every decade or so, and see where they are in their lives. While the third movie: Wog Boys Forever is 12 years after the last film, it still feels pretty similar in the way this trilogy has played out. Only, the Wog Boys movies are not romantic or as good as those ones mentioned above. I will say that Wog Boys Forever is an improvement over Wog Boys 2: Kings of Mykonos. From the very first frame in which we are shown Steve Karamitsis and Frank Benedetto, I was shocked at how much they’ve aged. I guess Australian actors don’t have the luxury of LA surgeons. Still, the characters are written much better here than in the sequel. A lot of the jokes unfortunately don’t land here. So, this isn’t very funny outside of the clubbing party bus scene, and a character who is called the Cyclone, who gets her name from sucking dick. The neighbours are also a highlight. Wasn’t a huge fan of the father, son and ex-girlfriend subplot. But enjoyed the dynamic between our main characters and liked what they did with Frank’s character and his pizza business going nation wide. Better than the sequel.
