I can't believe we are about to enter the 5th month of the year already. This photo captured one of my most painful seasons and I couldn't be more grateful that someone took it. This was in January, 2 weeks after we lost Vander. I was overcome with grief and sorrow, individually and collectively Tyler and I faced so many attacks. We literally and spiritually had to fight for our lives, John 10:10 says the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy and it was playing out in many ways. I look at this photo and I am reminded that we do not fight alone and that Jesus said that He came to give us life and life in abundance. God sent His angel armies to surround us. He spoke life into us through His obedient children. I am so grateful for each and every bold believer who prayed over us, reached out and showed up to love on us. I am encouraged to step out in faith when I see others in need and not shy away because of my own insecurities. I am confident that God does miracles and He can and will provide everything we need. I will never be the same again and I think that's the point, we were never meant to stay the same. Our loss has changed me yes but more so the LOVE OF GOD is what continuously transforms me. My prayer for everyone is that how we grow through what we go through will continue to point us in the direction of God's plan and purpose for our lives.
