Four years ago on April 25th we drove to Arizona after selling our Long Beach house. We didn’t even know what city to choose. Just straight up yolo’d! We found our house on April 28th 2020. Sunday adventure files 🎞️ 🪵🌲 My mum is always off on adventures finding new places to go for walks, so today we joined her again on trying to find this waterfall and we did! We need to find the caves next. We may have got a little lost, but it was worth it! Also.. carrying Bodhi in the carrier is now a workout in itself (Mama’s IKYK). How lucky are we that places like this are just a five minute drive down the road? Also love making such lovely memories all together for Leo to remember and Bodhi to be able to look back on when he’s bigger. Life is just beautiful 🤍

Big stories start with little chapters ✨ When you see your littles on a huge theatre stage, no words can even describe it 🥹 I mean that literally because I’ve been sat here for an hour with no words but the whole experience running through my head on repeat. I still remember that first time we went to Asha’s school play a couple of years ago, one foot on stage and she burst into tears, she remained at the back of the stage clung to a teacher in tears. I never wanted to be that mum that pressured her kids into anything, or force them down a path they’re not comfortable with, all I’ve ever wanted from the moment they were able, is to find something they truly love and find themselves through. I still feel awful I ever thought it but my exact thought that moment we left that school play was “what was the point of even going, all we did was watch our child cry at the back of the stage.” After hours of sitting with that thought I soon enough realised it’s all about the time & effort put into getting to that point of taking those steps into the spot light, the hours, days, weeks of practice, managing the emotions/feelings it brings on performing in front of others, there’s just so much that goes on in the preparation for it that even if they don’t do a thing on stage they did all of that beforehand and gave it a shot, that is all that matters. Slow(ish) Spring Saturdays🌱 Featuring an hour at the allotment and a post tea time park trip! I've been a bit MIA from the allotment of late, due to a mixture of the wet weather but also because I've not physically been able to do much as the cartilage in my rib cage has been inflamed & I'm awaiting a chest xray following a course of steroids. It's frustrating, to say the least as there's lots of prep that needs to be done, but I've not been able to do even the small jobs like the weeding. On the plus side today, I did manage to get the strawberry patch tidied and extended just using a trowel (thank you @allotmentatmumshouse for the encouragement!). И буду брать рюкзачок с собой на прогулку с коляской, на всякий случай) Не спорю,что сейчас моя спина в шоке и думает: «какого черта😅» ведь 9 кг это вам не шутки.
