If you're a Porridge lover like me, you're going to want to hit save on this one ⬇️ This porridge is inspired by one of my amazing mentors @nicolamoorenutrition She shared this fab tip with me for adding ground almonds to porridge and it's honestly a game changer! Not only does it make the porridge gorgeous and creamy in texture, but also keeps you fuller for longer and is more nutrient dense with almonds being a good source of protein, fibre, vitamin E and magnesium. So if you find you are often hungry again a couple of hours after eating porridge, give this recipe a whirl and see if you notice a difference. Ingredients: 🍽️ 20g jumbo rolled oats 🍽️ 20g ground almonds 🍽️ 15g chia seeds 🍽️ 200ml almond milk 🍽️ 15g mixed seeds 🍽️ 1tsp ground cinnamon 🍽️ 1 medjool date 🍽️ Peanut butter, berries and diced apple to top Method: Blend almond milk, cinnamon and date in blender, then add to pan with all porridge ingredients (apart from toppings) Heat for 5 mins. Top with fruit and nut butter I used frozen berries for the topping, simply warmed them up in a pan.
