Riverside's TREK Young Adult Trip will be from August 9th to the 13th and is for young adults ages 19-29. TREK is an offsite adventure trip where the participants are immersed in God's creation. We will be setting up base camp near Pictured Rocks in the U.P. and will take day trips around the area. Whether hiking with breathtaking views of God's creation, swimming in a Great Lake, or cooking meals over the open fire while laughing with friends, God is evident through it all. Take time away from your hectic lives to jump into this relaxing camping trip where you don't have to plan anything. Not only will Riverside staff plan the trip, take care of the food, handle the drive, they will also prepare devotionals and Bible Studies to go through as a group. We can't wait to get to know each of you more and are so excited to see what God will do on this trip! AI 'art' is absolutely everywhere right now. Especially in this industry. From using AI to cull, edit, create, remove, and even caption every single image and post. To be honest, whether I stand alone on this or not, that's bullshit and lazy. I did not become an artist to use prompts and theft to 'create' art. And I will die on that hill. AI is stolen and robotic. It's fake, generated, and is taking every ounce of true art out of what we do. If you're too busy to create for your client, front to back, from your soul... then charge more and take on less. .... A photographer in a small group I'm in just let everyone know they LOST a wedding booking because their turn around for a wedding gallery was 4 weeks. That's incredible! So why'd they lose it? Because another photographer could use AI culling + editing to deliver their ENTIRE gallery in 48 hours. My jaw is on the floor. That is now no longer your art. Simple. Leading up to National Park Week, we'll be sharing some of these sites! 📍Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (Michigan) We visited Pictured Rocks in August 2021. This was such a beautiful area filled with lighthouses, waterfalls, and of course, the colorful rock formations that give the park its name. During our visit we camped, hiked, and took a Pictured Rocks cruise from Munising. If you plan to visit, I highly recommend taking a cruise to see these colorful rocks from the water! Wagner Falls Project Update ⚒ The NCTA Superior Shoreline Chapter invites you to join a work weekend April 20-21 to kick off this four-mile reroute project near Munising, Michigan. Volunteers will begin building new trail to eliminate two miles of roadwalk on M-94. All tools will be provided and no special skills are needed. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, and bring your own food, water, and work gloves. Meet at 9:00 a.m. (ET) on either day (or both!) about 0.3 miles south of the intersection of M-28 and M-94 West. (Please park on the north side of M-94, directly across from the Wagner Falls trailhead.) Contact the Chapter to RSVP or for additional information at [email protected]. Greetings from Michigan, the 43rd state I’ve visited. Between driving and hiking and one other thing I’ve never done before (stay tuned!!) this trip kicked my butt. So I wasn’t able to see all of this 10.2 mile loop trail and had to truncate it to a 5.6 mile trail before it got dark. This is Lover’s Leap, which is a name not unique to this rock formation.
