I wasn’t aiming to be Super mom 🦸🏻‍♀️ in this 15k (I’ll save that for the Mother’s Day run 🤪) my goal was to finish this run in under 2hrs. I was even serious when I said I would be happy if I finished this run in 1:59:59! So yeah, I completed the run in 1:52:05 👍🏼 with my middle left toe bleeding and my legs about to collapse on me AND 5 months postpartum with no solid run training in about a year and a half! I’m proud of me 🥹😅 ————————————— ▪️Mile 1-3 manageable ▪️Mile 4-5 exhausting but I pushed through ▪️Mile 6 The milk 🥛 makers were in utter discomfort 😅 ▪️Mile 7 I got hungry & my left foot 🦶 started hurting (which I found out once I got home that it’s because my middle toe was bleeding) ▪️Mile 8-9 Thoughts of going back home to my baby 🎀 pushed me to the finish line 🥹 Every time I stopped to walk, I had to remind myself that I’d reach the finish line faster if I jogged at least 🥵 3rd time doing this run 🏃🏻‍♀️ and it’s always challenging, but I think I’ll continue running it every year.
