If you get to the parks early, before opening, it's worth the wait in line! They opened the park 30+ minutes early and we got to ride several rides before 9 (the scheduled opening time)! 5 miles for the Rides of Disney Run with #therunprincessfamily I have always loved The Pirates of the Caribbean ride (does anyone remember the Disney Singalong VHS that featured the ride?? I was obsessed ha!). Anyway, this ride took on new meaning when on a family Disneyland trip in 2018, the ride broke down to the point where it was just silent animatronics moving around and then cast members had to put on waders and pull us to an emergency exit. Happy Tuesday everyone. I have never been on this ride because the queue is always really long and I can't understand why. The People Mover is near and dear to my heart. I love a good coaster or a boat ride through the jungle but zipping around Tomorrowland while enjoying glimpses of Cinderella’s castle is a must ride for our family. A ride that may sometimes be overlooked by others, holds special memories for me. It’s even more special since there is never a line! You never know where some of your favorite moments will happen at Disney. Tip - if traveling with young kids, there are a few parts during the ride when it gets very dark. I always have my phone ready to turn my flashlight on when needed. But it is a fantastic ride for all ages! I hope you guys enjoyed that little focus on resorts! I thought I'd do a little short emphasis on attractions. Disney offers so many different attractions for all ages and all preferences. There are a lot of misconceptions- 1. Disney has more than roller coasters. 2. Disney has more than just Disney movie themed things. 3. Disney isn't just for little kids. 4. Disney isn't just for big kids. So let me just break those down this week! I want to start with one of my favorite attractions- Slinky Dog Dash is one of the newest at WDW located in Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios this coaster is kid friendly and super smooth. It does however have a 38" height requirement. Personally coasters aren't my favorite- I don't like getting whipped around and I do get a little motion sick, but I love the thrill so they have to be smooth and easy and this is one of those! I recommend snagging a fastpass or if you can't (and they are elusive) rope drop it!
