Is this the Scariest ride in Disney World? Well if you ask the child in the car with me, she would say yes. Yes, between the trackless vehicles, the scenes, and the screens, this is a pretty impressive ride. But it’s these very features that can trigger motion sickness in some. This attraction is a 3D film within 4D experience. You will be given 3D glasses, and since you’re shrunk to the size of a rat, your journey through the kitchen will get a little frantic. The ride vehicles themselves, in addition to being trackless, are set atop circular platforms. These platforms allow for a variety of movements like spinning and tilting. For perspective, not even the Rise of the Resistance vehicles can tilt like these. Combine this with the many large 3D screens throughout, and you could end up having a bit too much fun. In truth, the physical motion here is not likely to make you sick, it’s what’s going on with all the screens. So if you have a history of motion sickness from 3D films, handle this ride the same way you would any of those films.

Could you imagine what that would’ve sounded like…… how that experience would’ve been. The national anthems around the world weren’t exactly created with the concern of sounding cohesive with other national anthems. No, I think creating one song that’s simple and easily translated into other languages was a much better play. And hey, the song may get stuck in your head, but I think the original idea would’ve sound like a bad DJ at best and painful for the eardrums at worst. Side note: Since it’s a small world is played on loop in 5 Disney parks around the world, it’s actually the most performed song of all time! (You got off easy, Shanghai!)

One of the biggest thrills in the Disneyland Paris resort is the Tower of Terror, currently the centre piece of the Walt Disney Studios park this is a highly theme drop ride which combines the spooky atmosphere of the Twilight Zone with the thrill of a few seconds of weightlessness as the drop tower forces guests down each elevator shaft with greater force than gravity alone. Each of the shafts has a different programme meaning that riders will not get used to the sequence. “Don’t scream you’ll make it worse” chilling! I love this ride and I am so pleased its not had the Guardians of the Galaxy retheme! Chief among them tends to be storyline and details. You’re journey through the Hollywood Tower Hotel definitely makes an effort to familiarize you with the story. When bellman Dewey Todd entered the elevator with the four hotel guests, lightning struck and the 5 of them vanished at exactly 8:05pm that Halloween night. Tower of Terror is undoubtedly one of the best areas in WDW when it comes to details. So look at all the clocks in the building…… I bet you can guess what time it is.
