In days gone by and in weather conditions not so idyllic, ship wrecked crews would be grateful to see the Dennett Rocket (complete with rescue rope and apparatus) being launched at them from this humble but heroic little building. It’s a reminder of those who must have shared the same qualities whilst serving from this special place. This simple scene really appealed to me, the soft pink tones, and stark branches. it was so pretty.
