When a mother kisses her baby, she samples the pathogens on baby's face, which then travel to mom's lymphatic system. Mom's body then creates antibodies to fight those pathogens, which baby receives through breast milk.

Posing tip: Instead of kissing, smell or nose nuzzle your littles. Puckered lips aren’t generally a flattering look and kissing smooshes your faces too close. A gentle nose nuzzle or long inhale of that sweet baby smell is much more flattering while still looking all intimate and connected. This tip isn’t just for babies either. I mostly ask everyone to avoid kissing and use their nose instead. It looks so much better. Follow me for more tips.

My twin sister My best friend My rock My safe space My everything I could not have gotten through the last two years without her. •She was there the day I found out I was having twins and had a nervous breakdown •She was there to watch our eldest and feed our pets during all of my high risk prenatal appointments and when I delivered the babies •She was there the first few months after they were born helping me get theough the days when I was emotionally and physically exhausted (all while she was working full time) •She was there for last minute needs when the babies were sick and I had to rush to the hospital Although Brynn doesn’t want any children of her own, she treats her nieces and nephews with so much love and kindness, she is an incredible Aunty, and would make an incredible mother if she ever changed her mind. @brynn_the_food_driven_vegan I love you so much. Happy birthday, Caleb and Hadley. August 23rd, 2022, 37 weeks. -Caleb William was born at 6:41 am, 5 pounds 3.3 ounces, 17.5 inches. One push and you were out! -Hadley Emma was born at 6:56 am, 4 pounds 5.7 ounces, 17.5 inches. You were stuck and required some assistance, pulled out feet first! This year has been one of challenges, tears, doubts, and fears…but more importantly, laughter, love, learning, and growing. I simply can’t imagine our lives without you two. Caleb, you are my Ferdinand. Big and bulky, clumsy and accident prone, but filled with such love and sweetness. You are a kind, observant soul, and utterly obsessed with your daddy. It’s been almost 9 months since I became a momma to three 😅…the most challenging 9 months of my life, (like REALLY challenging), but I’m hard core obsessed with these humans. And since we’re telling the truth here, this photoshoot was an absolute shit show. Ironically, it was my eldest being difficult. I’m not sure I was playing out the “pretty good mom” role well😬; there were ultimatums and threats made😅. I just wanted one photo! My sister and brother-in-law had to come save the day because my husband was less than patient attempting to take these for me🙈 But, it all worked out and I look at these and think, “hot damn, I made these beautiful tiny people!” Happy (early) Mother’s Day!
