Du darfst verdammt stolz auf dich sein. Die heutige Gesellschaft gibt uns oft vor, zurückhaltend zu sein und vermittelt uns das Gefühl, dass wir nicht stolz auf uns sein dürfen. Dabei leisten wir jeden Tag verdammt noch mal so viel Gutes... Meine Zwillinge kamen in der 34. Schwangerschaftswoche nach einem Notkaiserschnitt zur Welt. Der erste Weg führte direkt zur Intensivstation. Baby Nummer drei hatte nach der Geburt Atemschwierigkeiten. Auch hier ging der erste Weg zur Intensivstation. Das war ebenfalls hart! Beide Male waren es sehr harte Erfahrungen, und heute weiß ich, dass der Notkaiserschnitt einfach nur heftig war. Aber man nimmt es an und akzeptiert, dass man funktionieren muss. Nach der Geburt des dritten Babys war meine Mutter zwei Wochen bei mir. Als sie nach Hause fuhr, habe ich bitterlich geweint, weil ich einfach Angst hatte, alleine mit drei kleinen Kindern zu Hause zu sein. Aber man wächst an seinen Aufgaben. Ich möchte dir Mut zusprechen, so wie ich es immer hier tue. I can’t believe the sheltwins turned a year old last Monday! This past week has been a whirlwind of flashbacks, some happy and some not so happy. Flash backs to my labor and what I endured to bring these beautiful babies into this world. I look back at that day, and even though our twins came 7 weeks early, even though they had to stay in the NICU for 15 days, even though I had to heal in a hotel room in San Francisco 4 days after, all I feel when I look back at that day is calm. I had a beautiful birth experience, one that was uniquely mine and I would not change it for the world. Happy first birthday Zoey and Xander, momma and dada love you so very much.

I didnt love myself, I didnt know HOW. There is something about breaking down the flesh that opens your heart and your mind to so many revelations! So if we break down our bodies to make them stronger, then there is EVERY OPPORTUNITY to RISE from mental brokenness and defeat...right?! THATS what exercise has done for me. It has opened me up to receive the pure awesomeness that God has for my life.
