Who else is egg-cited for Easter?🐣🥬 Today I’m sharing an Easter brunch table setting. Some pieces are borrowed from last year’s inspiration, while other pieces are new. Everything is centered around beautifully detailed cabbage ware. . Wine glasses with a scalloped rim and perle tumblers with bands of oval dots tie in perfectly with the design of the woven placemats, while bamboo cutlery provides an exotic touch. . Parrot tulips or the ranunculus flower serve as lovely options for a floral arrangement in the stoneware pitcher since their ruffled petals and petal layers mimic the layers of a cabbage. . I love the idea of rechargeable table lamps which can be used in place of candles. The sage color pairs well with the stunning hand-painted Easter eggs. . A simple botanical art piece hangs ever so faintly in the distance.

I wasn’t planning on decorating the new greenhouse for the holidays (thinking the flowers therein are decoration enough), but when #abbiezabarnyc asked the question, the creative wheels got to turning. Having picked up a piece of spider wood (as #shopterrain calls it) earlier this fall, it was pressed into service as an ersatz chandelier with the addition of crystal chandelier pendants. This Christmas season is the first time we have had colored lights on our main tree, and I must say, it adds a whole other level of cozy to our home. It was definitely a learning curve for me trying to photograph them, but trust me, in person they’re like a big hug!! Love them but I love how much our girls adore them even more.
