Grounding helps to release unwanted negative energy that we’ve collected throughout the day. It helps to balance, clear, and heal our energy body and offers protection against negative influences. It also helps to reconnect us to Mother Gaia after doing any spiritual or psychic work. 🌲 If you experience fogginess, dizziness, anxiety, troubles focusing, lethargy, daydreaming, noice sensitivity, overstimulation, or forgetfulness, you may need to ground yourself. This should be done daily and is especially important if you are an empath, healer, or energy worker. 🌲 How to ground yourself 1. Meditation. You can ground yourself by visualizing roots growing down into the earth from your feet, then surrendering all of the negative energy that’s within your body into the roots and earth. Then, visualize healing pranic earth energy coming up through those roots and into your body and energy field. 2. Diet. Eat Lots of greens and root veggies. 3. Exercise. Go for a walk or run outside. Especially in nature. 4. Stones. The best stones for grounding are Black Tourmaline, Hemetite, Red Jasper, Smoky Quartz, Gold Tigers Eye, Moqui Balls, and Shungite. These gems will ground and help absorb and transmute negative energy. 5. Trees. Wrap your arms around a tree and visualize all of the negative energy going into the tree and into the earth to be transmuted. Great to do before entering your home after work or a public place. Who cares if the neighbours think you’re weird. 🤷🏻♀️😜 6. Earthing.
