Last-chance-saloon for entry to #sewaprilblouse24 today! Here’s a viscose linen Anthea blouse I just sewed up last week. I know I don’t need to sell anybody on this blouse pattern. This is my third Anthea after making one in viscose and another in double gauze jacquard (yummy). I usually French seam throughout so I can sigh happily at the insides before I put it on. I forgot to do that at the outset so this one has flat-felled seams at the shoulder and side seams with french-seamed sleeves. I have managed to sew my buttons on too tightly…which is something I do when I’m excited near the end, it translates into gusto, obviously! They’ll give with life and laundry time. The viscose linen is one of the exclusive prints from @minervadotcom. I like this substrate as it’s soft without being flimsy. So it’s time for one last, deep curtsey to Gabrielle and Ruan for hosting another challenge for us. Due to my late arrival it’s been brief but brilliant.
