De pijnlijkste dagen zijn voorbij, de baasjes hebben goed voor mij gezorgd zoals ze altijd doen. Ik zal mij weer snel vervelen, want ik ben weer helemaal mezelf bruisend van energie. . Tag 14. post TPLO Zusammenfassung der letzten Tage, Bilder und Videos gibts ja immer in meiner Story und dem Story-Highlight „TPLO“ Am Mittwoch, Tag 12 post OP war ich beim Fäden ziehen. Frauchen war etwas nervös, weil so etwas bei mir noch nie gemacht wurde und sie keine Sedation für mich wollte. Es hat auch ohne funktioniert ! Angeblich sei es einfacher einen 80kg Mann festzuhalten , als mich mit fast 40kg. Vom Tierarzt raus hatte ich Kraft wie ein Ochse, Abends konnte ich nicht so gut laufen. Am Donnerstag, Tag 13 post OP, hat mir Frauchen meine Maniküre gemacht und zum ersten mal auch eine Pediküre. Letzteres war bisher nie nötig, aber ich darf ja nicht viel Gassi gehen. Heute Tag 14 post OP , waren wir bei meiner Physiotherapeutin zur Narbenpflege. Die Narbe ist sehr gut geheilt. Zwei kleine Stellen sind etwas dicker, aber das ist meckern auf höchstem Niveau ! Dafür muss ich nicht wieder kommen, Frauchen wurde eingewiesen was zu tun ist. Lymphe ist keine mehr da. Das haben wir super hinbekommen, Frauchen hat gut gewickelt und ich habe fein hingehalten. Meine Profi-Knuddlerin ist positiv überrascht, wie gut ich mein Knie schon abwinkeln kann. Bewegungstherapie ist nicht nötig. Das Strecken ist noch nicht so gut, aber zeitlich ganz normal. Eine etwas harte Sehne hat sie gefunden und ordentlich bearbeitet. Auch da wurde Frauchen eingewiesen, um selbstständig weiter zu machen. Verspannungen aufgrund von Fehlbelastung wurden keine weiteren gefunden. Wenn’s so bleibt und ich keine Auffälligkeiten zeige, brauche ich vor dem Kontroll-Röntgen nicht mehr kommen. Direkt nach dem Röntgen habe ich einen Termin, dann beginnt der Muskelaufbau. MIJN KNIE IS WEER GEMAAKT!🎉🤩👍🏼 8 weken geleden kreeg ik een tplo-operatie aan mijn rechterachterknie, omdat mijn kruisband was gescheurd. De operatie werd uitgevoerd door @orthopedieren en vandaag was de controle. Dr. Brian heeft aan mijn knie gevoeld en een röntgenfoto gemaakt (zie laatste foto). Alles zag er helemaal goed uit! Tomorrow is Bodie’s 2 week post-op check up. You can see he is walking pretty well on his leg as long as there is traction. He is still under strict limitations and will be for several weeks. No running, no jumping, no off leash, no sudden movement. Let me tell ya, that is one of the hardest parts with this and a young energetic dog. Their brain is telling them to get that squirrel, but their body is saying nope! His wound was healing really well until yesterday. He was allowed to have the cone off for a period, and licked it. This can be bad if bacteria gets to the metal plate. Thankfully we will be at the vet in the morning. Lessons - dogs are quick and sneaky. It's National Pet Day and I'm ill prepared! Summit is on week 6 of 16 in her TPLO recovery journey and loving life still as though nothing happened. She's not lost any of her personality which is relieving - I thought she was depressed for a bit and wondered if it was going to be long-lasting. How ridiculous of me. Week 8 is the halfway point and when we're supposed to get x-rays to see if the bone has healed properly. . 6. Tag nach der TPLO Ja, ich liege schon auf meinem operierten Bein, das geht gut. Gestern war ich zur Lymphdrainage bei meiner Physio. In der Story vom Tag 4 (Highlight) habt ihr vielleicht auch gesehen, dass es es am Sprunggelenk ein bisschen schwappeld. Das ist Lymphe, die hat sich da angesammelt. Der Arzt hat bestimmt die Durchblutung gestoppt, während er meinen Knochen durchgesägt hat. Und zu wenig Bewegung habe ich ja auch. Auf jeden Fall musste die Lymphe weg, die behindert die Heilung und ich will schnell wieder fit werden. Eigentlich bin ich ja schon wieder fit, vor allem nach dem Mittagessen, da spüre ich überhaupt nichts mehr und könnte Bäume ausreißen. Aber ich werde hier wie ein Tier gehalten; nur 5 Minuten darf ich raus, 4 mal am Tag. Ich muss mich immer im gleichen Raum aufhalten wie Frauchen. Und Nachts muss ich einen Helm tragen. Zum Futtern gibt’s deutlich weniger, obwohl ich momentan 3mal täglich etwas bekomme. Die AB‘s seien bald fertig, dann gibt es nur noch 2mal. Meine Wunde sieht übrigens sehr gut aus, die nässt nicht und ist kaum geschwollen. Frauchen wechselt täglich das Pflaster. Am Montag werden die Fäden gezogen, dann endet die Helmpflicht. Ein wenig mulmig war uns ja schon, aber es ging wirklich reibungslos und der gnubbel der durch mein knabbern entstanden ist wurde auch mit entfernt. 🩹 Opération Oggy Le 28 mars, Oggy s’est fait opérer des ligaments croisés (TPLO). Opération qui consiste à réorienter la surface du tibia pour stabiliser l’articulation (explication basique je suis pas veto 😅). Donc on découpe un morceau du tibia, on le réoriente et on le fixe avec une plaque. Ça a été compliqué pour Oggy qui ne voulait pas marcher avec le pansement. Nous avons dû l’enlever dès le lendemain car la plaie saignait. Plus de pansement donc des gonflements assez impressionnants et des gros hématomes. Aujourd’hui, à J+12, plus de gonflement doudou marche plutôt bien mais repos au max et retrait des points dans 2 jours. Me and Roxy had such a fantastic day yesterday with Canine In-tuition running a massage workshop. These gorgeous hardworking gundogs and their owners definitely enjoyed their day learning all about the benefits of massage. By the end of the day they had mastered a full 40 minute Swedish massage routine. They were all very relaxed. They can now help their dogs though out the busy season. Zoek wandelingen, staan een week op de planning en body en balans training op laatste graad. Vrouwtje mag mij ook wat meer massages geven 🤭 🤫 joepie. Dit omdat ik mezelf niet kan intomen, ondanks mijn heupdysplasie en artrose. Zij voelen nu uitwendig wat ik inwendig voel, de artrose die over elkaar schuren en geloof mij dat is heel pijnlijk. Toch ben ik een sterke meid en geef geen blijk van pijn, wel met gevolg dat nu mijn ellebogen en schouders de last niet zo goed meer aankunnen. Toch heb ik geluk en voel mij vrolijk genoeg om nog door te gaan, ik heb geweldige baasjes die goed voor mij zorgen. Ook worden zij omringd door specialisten in hun vak, zo mag ik nog blijven zwemmen bij Els van @kynomotionels Tessa en Liesbeth werken samen om mij de beste zorg te geven en mijn pijn zoveel mogelijk te verzachten met hun handen en laser en raad @de.bardelinde @pawsinmotion_be Ook kunnen ze terecht in een geweldig team van onze dierenarts praktijk @anicura.dac.malpertuus Dus bedankt om mijn leven beter te maken. Wilda blev opererad i onsdags. Fick komma hem på torsdag em ❤️🐶. Då mådde hon riktigt dåligt💔😢. Var mest hög på metadon. Så hon var inte sig själv alls... Hon hade svårt att både kissa, bajsa & äta 😢. Sov mest. Och det är ju bra🙏. Men framförallt hade hon jättesvårt att gå med sitt nya ben 😢. Hon nuddade knappt marken med det. Men på kvällen fick jag iaf i henne lite mat & hon kunde kissa oxå. Under gårdagen (fredagen,) blev det bättre & stabilare 🙏❤️. Så det går åt rätt håll. En dag i taget. Vi kämpar på❤️🐶🐾.
