Even though Langkawi is a tropical island with hot and humid weather, you could take a 20 minutes ride to the mountains to get an awesome view of forest, valley and the vast Andamas sea. We took a short stop at the middle station to soak into the views, took some pictures and went off to the top station to get caught in the torrential rains. But when it cleared up, and when we took a short sky glide lift to the bridge which connects two mountains ( featured in the film Don), it was a walk in the heavens with fog all around us. 2nd Day at Disney and did California Adventure...which as an adult I may prefer slightly. The babes didn't have quite as many rides, but still a ton to do for them including Turtle Talk with Crush, which I think I enjoyed more than them. Cars was awesome, Webslingers and especially Guardians of the Galaxy. Finally getting around to sharing our fun trip to Southern California for Spring Break. We started off visiting our good friends the Wrights, who we love to see when we head that direction. They took us to an awesome Beach in Laguna called Aliso Beach...the littles loved chasing seagulls and playing in the Sand especially the playground. 🎶 A dream is a wish your heart makes 🎶 And trust me, taking these two little monkeys to Disney is such a dream come true 🤍 We spent a day at Magic Kindgom (my favourite park) & Epcot (Allie’s favourite park) while soaking up the Florida sunshine. Seeing my babies feel the Disney magic was such an amazing experience and I know I’ll hold on to the memories forever 🤍 They lit up when they saw the castle and wanted to ride all the rides!! We had all the yummy snacks and cheese decided he was finally going to start walking while standing in front of the castle 😂 and then he wanted to walk around the world in Epcot!! 🌎 The Disney Parks hold such a special place in my heart and I dreamt about taking my future kids to visit since I was just a kid myself. And here we are running after toddlers in front of Cinderella’s castle. I feel like the luckiest person in the world 🤍

Several years ago, I (stupidly) thought it was crazy that people paid for Disney’s Memory Maker to get their photo downloads when they could just hand the photographer their own camera to take pics with. Then a few years ago (once we started bringing the kids) I decided to try it and HOLY COW am I glad I did! Some of our best family photos over the years have been the ones taken by the PhotoPass Photographers! I don’t have to worry about remembering to hand them my phone to take pics with, or in my case I could use my phone to video the interactions with characters while they snapped photos. Hi I am 25 weeks pregnant with Dcda twins and I have just found out my heart rate is too fast, I am being sent for an echocardiogram and an ECG this week, but has sent my anxiety through the roof. I was hoping to have a vaginal birth but now I am thinking an elective c section is my best option. Can anyone enlighten me if they have been in this situation before and what they opted for in the end? I have another child at home to think of who has a different dad and my welfare is of the utmost importance to him so I need to make myself a priority for him. Maui—-we have arrived!! Okkk I’m not going to lie…that was not easy. 🤯 So many eventful things happened and I’m not sure how we made our flight but we did! We only had an hour from the time we walked up to the check in counter to when the flight was leaving 😳 This was not the plan but we were packing and getting stuff done up until the last minute. — I didn’t know you have to register a baby on the reservation so we showed up to the airport and they weren’t on there 🙊 I thought you only had to do this if they were older than two — I put my dads wrong birthday when I bought the tickets —Too many things to write 🤪 Some people have asked me how I stay sane moving every six months with newborn twins and two dogs The answer is…I don’t 😂 There are things we have had to sacrifice along the way. A big one for me has been not being able to decorate a nursery for the girls. Although this may seem insignificant….it is something I dreamed of for a long time. I think I had it fully decorated in my mind before it ever even happened. But I know I will get to do it one day when we are settled somewhere. The other big one is not having a tribe. I mean I have a tribe, but they live all over the place. And making new friends is hard!! I mean have you tried? I do it by focusing on the bigger picture. This is temporary. When Nick graduates from his dental residency program we can choose where to settle down. The fact that we are living in Hawaii and getting to move around to the different islands is an amazing experience. Nick and I joke that we are nomads at Heart. We have each lived in Atlanta, San Diego, Las Vegas, Washington, now, Hawaii,… And we will see where the future takes us. We survived flights 11 & 12… with two lap infants!! 👶🏻 👶🏻✈️ Children under two can fly on their parents lap for free instead of needing to buy them a seat and we have been milking that for all it’s worth 🙌🏼 Soon flying is going to cost us double and I am mentally not okay with that 😭💰 Honestly I think it was easier flying with them as small babies! Now that they’re toddlers they are hard to keep still and harder to keep entertained 🙈 But here are my top tips for flying with a lap infant: 1️⃣ Bring new toys! This trip we got a premade toy pack from @mini.jetsetter and it was amazing ✈️ Suction toys to stick to the window or tray table are always a hit! 2️⃣ when you have a lap infant most airlines will also let you check two of either a car seat, playpen, or stroller for FREE! Plus you’re allowed an extra carryon as their diaper bag. 3️⃣ Bring a change of clothes in case a blow out happens. We like to pack a warm outfit and a cooler outfit since plane temperatures are so variable! 4️⃣ bring all the good snacks! 5️⃣ I know airport floors are gross, but we let our kids run around like crazy in an empty area of the airport before boarding to get all their sillies out! 6️⃣ HOT TAKE 🔥 but we DON’T take advantage of pre boarding… in fact we make sure we are one of the LAST people on the plane. We don’t want them confined to their seats any longer than they need to be! Oh and did you know you can’t have more than one lap infant in a row? So parents of multiples have to separate on flights 😭 Allie and I opt to sit in aisle seats either across from eachother or in front of each other so we can easily swap babies and supplies. ✈️ first flight ✈️ These two were champs on their first plane ride. I’ve been preparing them for weeks. Telling them mom will sit in the middle and a long as your seatbelt is on , you are safe. We had them run up and down the travelator to tire them out before the flight. Daniel was cool and calm as always, William was a little nervous with takeoff and required a lot of hand holding. Favorite snapshots from Melbourne. We love this city so much. We didn’t have a ton of activities planned here, more just wandering and experiencing what the city has to offer, which is a lot. We actually only did one paid activity and rented a car for one day for the great ocean road. We used public transit to get around. You can buy a myki card at 7/11 but there is a decently sized free tram zone around the CBD.
