In no particular order, the food we devouvered 🌱😋😋 . 🥑 Buddha Bowl, Tempeh Spring Rolls and Fried Tempeh from @earthtoneinpai . 🫒 Mezze Platter which included 2 types of hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, zaatar bread and pita from @ganitacafepai . 🧇 Buckwheat waffle topped with fruits and a berry sauce from @earthtoneinpai . 🥬 Tofu and Shrooms crunchyyy banh mi from the Vietnamese stand at the night market . 🥦 Veggies, Pad See Ew and Tempeh w/ Peanut sauce from @charlieandlekpai . 🍜 Khao Soi, Tempeh and Spagetti from @earthtoneinpai . 🥔 Aalo Pho ane Fried Rice from Two Sisters . 🫐 Acai Smoothie bowls and Avo toast on purple bread from @bombowls . 🍔 Tempeh Burger, Vegan Chicken Burger, Khao Soi and Falafel Plate from @ganitacafepai . 🍚 Millet Tempeh*, Black Rice and a side salad from Street Vegan @tamjaigig . Name me a fruit that ISN'T on these waffles 👀 . I've never been a sweet brekkie gal (give me a full English every day 😍) but I thought I'd try something new for a hangover cure at @blossom_pai . A big phat stack of waffles 🧇 . These were so big I had no idea what plan of attack to take 😂 But it didn't matter cos every bite was sugary heaven! The only thing I would nit pick is that it was kinda annoying the fruits weren't peeled/ready to eat. It just meant I had to faff around peeling and cutting stuff (first world problems ey? 🤦🏼♀️) . The cafe itself is very "Pai" - super hippie and cute! There's a big health focus despite the waffles 😂 and it has a cute garden space. It's a bit of a walk out of the centre, but it's a nice countryside stroll. If you stay in the famous Circus hostel it's right next door 🙌 . Day 238: Meet Luna. I was offered a cat sitting job in Pai in exchange for housing, and I gladly took it. Wait so I get to live in a bungalow and hangout with Luna for the next 10 days, sounds like a win to me ✌🏽🐱😍😁 . . I have had dreams of having a house in the beautiful city of Pai, and I get to live that dream for a few days 😂😴 Oh and I get to sleep in a King Sized bed, omg after how longgg 🤗 . . The bungalow also has a sick view of the mountains and is one of the best sunset spots around, HOW DID I GET SO LUCKY? Today arrived in Krabi. We traveled the north of Thailand for our first 10 days of vacation and were really amazed by the vegan food we found in Chiang Mai and Pai. This doesn’t show all, but gives an impression. Thai Food is always an option, but some restaurants just went beyond and made our travel become a great culinary experience. If you ever go to Chiang Mai you have to have breakfast at #goodsoulskitchenchiangmai, dine at the #reformkafechiangmai or #veganheavenchiangmai.
