Even though the sky looked pretty angry today, I was kind of glad for the cloud cover. It’s been so hot and we have triple digits in the forecast for as far as the eye can seeee. The bulbs in a bowl turned out so cute and they bloomed so beautifully. However, their time in the bowl is coming to an end. Most the Tulips are losing their petals and the hyacinths have been gone for a while. So therefore it is time to get them into the landscape. The perfect place for them is in the new flower bed I am putting together. There is a lot going on here and though it may seem kind of empty right now I can assure you, it’s not as empty as it may seem. At any rate, I am saving some space so I can plant some vegetables here. I haven’t decided what yet. Peppers maybe? Also, what should I plant in the bowls now? This week has been the launch of the “Water Before Us” cloud kiosk and its nature art kits are now being stocked now through July 2 at the Como location (just behind and to the north of the dock area on the lakeside pavilion space).
