Disney California ✨️ Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace: Halloween 🎃 During our trip to California, we visited the original Disneyland ❤️ As part of my birthday present from my boyfriend, we booked in for the skyline terrace dining. This meant we had a seated terrace view of the Halloween fireworks 🎆 plus a seated meal beforehand. There was a choice of 3 options for main and I went for the pork rice bowl. It was really tasty and a BIG portion! Chris had a fillet cheese steak, which looked tasty 😋 For dessert we both had the brownies, which were very rich and turned our lips purple 💜 😄 The only thing I can fault is that you had to queue up for your food, and then carry it over on a tray (dodging other people) and up to the sky terrace. I'm often quite clumsy, so I was a bit concerned that I'd drop mine (luckily I didnt). It was also a bit of a wait, which took the shine off the beginning of the experience. Once we were up there the cast members were amazing and they made sure we were entertained with quizzes and games until the fireworks began. The view for the fireworks was fabulous, and it was nice to be able to relax and just enjoy them 💫👻🎃 #disney #disneycalifornia #disneyland #disneyfood #disneyfoodblog #disneyblogger #disneytomorrowland #disneyfireworks

🕸️Black Forest Bundt Cake . Filled with Cherry Filling, decorated with chocolate ganache and Halloween sprinkles topped with chocolate moose and a chocolate spider web . Idk why but I was expecting this to be dry but it’s not. I would say the M word but I hate that word! The cherry filling isn’t strong and was a nice balance. Also this isn’t as heavy as you would expect, it’s very light. Would I get it again? Prolly not but it is a nice dessert. It’s the Mickey Gingerbread Calavera Cookie! 💀 In case you didn’t know, Christmastime isn’t the ONLY time you can get Disneyland Resort’s super delicious and VERY popular Mickey gingerbread cookies – they are available for a limited time during this Halloween season as well! One of the BIGGEST differences in scooping up these gems right now is that it isn’t anywhere NEARLY as difficult as it is to get during Christmas season. During Christmas, folks would line up EARLY for these delicious treats, buy the maximum amount allowed, mobile orders for these would get cut off, and they would eventually sell out each day! On the day we picked up our cookies – we waited in a nearly non-existent line (one family ahead of us) and there were SO MANY COOKIES available! It literally took us minutes to grab a few. You might have to go slightly out of your way to get these if you’re in the theme parks because they are located at the holiday snack cart in the main lobby of the Disney Grand Californian Hotel along with many other great treats! Who doesn’t love a Starbucks on a hot day in the parks? Our favourite is creature comforts in Animal Kingdom. It’s away from the entrance so always seems less busy than the ones on Main Street and in Hollywood Studios. They have a great selection of cakes. The colossal Mickey cinnamon roll was colossal alright, it was massive! Shame they can’t warm them for you. It was a bit dry and nothing in comparison to the ones at Gaston’s Tavern which is by far my favourite. The cake pops went down well (so well I didn’t get to try them 🤦🏻‍♀️) we get these every year and they always have cute animals or characters. Coffee is the usual Starbucks amazingness prefect for a super hot and humid day. The English toffee churro is the seasonal churro found at the churro cart in between Thunder Mountain Railroad and The Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland. A traditional churro drizzled in chocolate sauce and topped with a healthy amount of English toffee bits. Honestly, it was not my favorite. The chocolate sauce overpowered the other flavors.
