During my adventure in Bali I have learned a lot of things. One of the them is Tri Hita Karana, a traditional philosophy for life on the island of Bali. The literal translation is roughly the "three causes of well-being" or "three reasons for prosperity." Those are harmony with God, harmony with nature and harmony among people. I have to admit that people in Bali are very special. I admire them for being so humble and spiritual. Tonight I had the pleasure of teaching a group of ladies that reside in a women’s transitional facility here in Atlanta..these women are not able to do much because of their circumstances. For me to be able to spend an hour with them dancing is so fulfilling. It’s not just about the dance moves it is about increasing confidence, being aware of their health, empowerment, self love/care, and having fun. This is an amazing experience for me and I am beyond GRATEFUL for the opportunity. I am so excited to see this grow into something even more amazing.
