Marsh Mill (1794), Thornton Cleveleys. Built during the reign of George III by Ralph Slater, a Fylde millwright. At 70ft tall, it is one of the tallest windmills in Europe. It ground various grades of flour for generations. By the late 1800s more sophisticated steam driven machinery was satisfying the demand for the finer grades of flour and Marsh Mill went over for grinding animal feeds until 1922. In 1930 two ladies visiting it with a view to buying it fell to their deaths after stepping out onto the fantail staging causing it to collapse! This afternoons #babymassageclass ended with calm and peaceโฆtime for mum to fill her cup. On an airplane, weโre instructed to put on our own oxygen masks first, because weโre not much help to anyone if weโve passed out due to lack of oxygen. Itโs important that we apply this to our everyday life as a #mama. At the end of my classes I like to help mums keep their #cup #full.
