The Bible, being the inspired Word of God, must be accepted and believed in its entirety. Certain verses of the Bible cannot be taken and believed while others are ignored because they make us uncomfortable or following them is difficult, inconvenient or unpopular. Where we do not understand particular verses, we must persistently seek the Holy Spirit’s instruction and help. There is no new revelation from God and no new prophetic words which alter, remove or add to the revelation within the Bible. In the final book of the Bible, we are warned, “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation22:18-19. God has spoken to generations of people through the Bible and the Bible provides His truth to us. Although, the books of the Bible have been written by different writers, each writer was always under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is God who is the Author of the Bible and if a person is not able to believe this, they will not be able to have a strong belief that any section of it is true. The apostle Paul states, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” 2Timothy3:16. Strong and unwavering belief in the Bible is essential for every person for without it we are unable to come to know God, understand God’s will and receive spiritual revelation. When Jesus Christ lived on earth, He read from the Jewish Scripture which was very close to our Old Testament. He accepted it and did not ever dispute it. If you hated the messenger, remember, it is not him who created the truth -- it is God who created it. Even the devils believe in God but they will go to hell. Where are you going? There are many negative sources of information that can tell you who you are. Paul wrote to the early Christians in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, "We are experiencing trouble on every side, but are not crushed; we are perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 we are persecuted, but not abandoned; we are knocked down, but not destroyed," Glory to God! This world is not good for those who believe in God for they are persecuted. Troubles are always around for God's people. They may face problems and persecution in this world but they will never be abandoned nor destroyed! Praise God! David trusted God because he believed that God will not forsake the righteous. Forgiving Saturday!🌴 Glory hallelujah to our Father God in heaven through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior! Our Lord Jesus Christ said in Mark 11:25-26, "Whenever you stand up to pray, forgive whatever you have against anyone, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins. 26 But if you do not forgive, your Father in heaven will not forgive your sins.” The first verse says that when we are going to pray to God and have anything against anyone, let there be forgiveness in our hearts. As mere human beings, sometimes our hearts carry grudges against those who did wrong to us. However, if we obey God, our Lord Jesus Christ told us to forgive them so that The Father God in heaven will also forgive us of our sins since we are sinners as well. We can't deny that we are also sinners who need to be forgiven. 1 Johnn1:8 tells us, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and there is no truth in us." Yes, if we claim to be sinless then we lie. If we are sinners then we need forgiveness from our Lord, too. We are commanded in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." Amen! Let us be kind and forgiving! May we forgive others so that we will also be forgiven. David asked for refuge from our God. He said in Psalms 57:1-3, "Be merciful to me, God, be merciful to me, for my soul takes refuge in you. Yes, in the shadow of your wings, I will take refuge, until disaster has passed. 2 I cry out to God Most High, to God who accomplishes my requests for me. 3 He will send from heaven, and save me, he rebukes the one who is pursuing me. Selah. God will send out his loving kindness and his truth." Praise God! If we are in trouble, let us call on God for refuge in the shadow of His wings. He will keep us safe just like when David was kept safe from trouble. David gave praises to our God in Psalms 63:7-8, "For you have been my help. Glory to God! If we declare that we believe in God then we should obey His commandments. Our Lord Jesus asked in Luke 6:46, "Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?" Indeed, because Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, you will keep my commandments." Amen! We should be obedient to God's words for our own good so we can enter the kingdom of our Father God. Shielded Tuesday! 💧💦 Greatness and power belong to our Father God in heaven through Christ Jesus, our Lord and savior! Psalms 3:3-5 are verses which belong to the psalms of David. The verses said, "But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. 4 I cry aloud to the LORD, and he answers me from his holy mountain. Interlude 5 I lie down and sleep, I wake up, because the LORD sustains me." God has always been our shield from troubles and dangers that come our way. We are still around in spite of the many dangers we have encountered in our lifetime because we have been protected over and over! Glory to God for this! When we sleep at night, there is always the possibility that we won't be able to wake up but we did, because God protected us! We should acknowledge God's goodness and praise Him for this! Every time we go out via our quarantine pass in this time of lockdown due to the pandemic caused by the covid19, we should ask for God's shield and thank Him that we came back home protected! Let us further be assured that God is our refuge in times of trouble with David's other psalm in verses 91:9-11 which said, "LORD, you are my refuge!” Because you chose the Most High as your dwelling place, 10 no evil will fall upon you, and no affliction will approach your tent, 11 for he will command his angels to protect you in all your ways." Good Sunday! 🌿 Power and glory belong to our Father God in heaven through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior! God said in Isaiah 41:10, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Praise God! In this time when people everywhere are struck with the covid19, we experience disturbances in our usual everyday lives. Some small businesses have stopped their operations, children skipped school for months and workers have not received pay for not working due to the lockdown policy. We are now very much dependent on the government's directives on how to cope with this pandemic. Bottom line is, in times like this, we have no one to turn to but God. He advised us not to be afraid for He will strengthen and help us. A lot of leaders of various countries have turned to God for help, they advised their people to pray. These leaders may have unknowingly followed God's word when He said in Jeremiah 29:12, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." Amen! Let us call on to God and He will save us from this calamity. No one can save and help us today but God Who further said in Isaiah 43:11, "I, even I, am the Lord; and there is no saviour but me." Glory to God! He will save us! We need vaccines and cure to take away the uncertainty and go back to our normal lives, let us pray to God. Acceptance Wednesday! 🌾 Glory and honor belong to our Father God in heaven through Christ Jesus, our Lord and savior! Romans 1:18 and 20 said, "18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people, who suppress the truth by unrighteousness," and, "20 For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made. So they are without excuse." Air cannot be seen and yet people believe in its existence. However, not all admit or even think that there is a mighty omnipotent being Who is unseen that created everything around us which included the air that is vital for us, mortal beings, to exist. Through these creations, God's existence, though invisible, is proven and no mortal being with his inferior wisdom can excuse this. Psalms 19:1 further says, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands." Amen! Glory to God! In this dangerous time, we need to accept the existence of a true God. Sadly, not everyone recognizes that. One proof was when I made a comment on a post that in this time of uncertainty, we need God but someone responded and denoted that I should acknowledge the frontliners rather than God or a myth, as the person said. It truly made me sad. Not everyone knows that our strength comes from God without which we, which include the healthcare providers, won't be able to do what our mind tells us to do. The strength we have comes from God Who enables us and these front liners to do their selfless care for the afflicted ones of this covid19 virus. Philippians 4:14 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Amen! Repentance Thursday! 🍂 Glory and honor belong to our heavenly Father God through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! God said in Isaiah 45:22, "Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other." Praise God for His love to us 'tho we are unworthy. He wants us all of us to be saved. By turning back to Him He will save us because there is no other God but Him! John 10:28 says, "and I give them eternal life, they will never come to destruction, and no one will ever take them out of my hand." Glory to God! Paul who was called Saul.l was once a persecutor. In 1 Timothy 1:13 he said, "I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and a violent man, yet because I had acted in ignorance and unbelief, I was shown mercy. " He was once a sinner because He did not know the truth yet but He was given mercy. From a sinner, he became saved. Each of us, sinners, who will turn to God and ask for forgiveness will be shown mercy by God Who is ever merciful and forgiving. Daniel 9:9 says, "The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against Him. " Let us wait no more especially in this crucial time that we have globally, let us repent and turn to God. Let us submit ourselves to God and receive His salvation. Shielded Thursday! 🌴 Greatness and power belong to our Father God in heaven through Christ Jesus, our Lord and savior! Psalms 3:3 is said to be David's psalm when he fled from his son Absalom. It says, "But You, O LORD, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head." Amen! Indeed, our God is our shield and our strength. He is our glory Who lifts us up when we are down! Thank You, Lord! In times of danger or threat of any form against us, He is our strength that helps us overcome these. Psalms 28:7 says, "The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart rejoices, and I will thank Him with my song." Praise God! Our God is perfect. He shields those who ask for His protection. 2 Samuel 23:31 tells us that our God is, "This God! His way is perfect! What the LORD declares proves true. Obedience Monday! 💧💦 Greatness and power belong to our Father God in heaven through Christ Jesus, our Lord and savior! God promised rewards for those who are obedient to Him. Deuteronomy 28: 1-4 said, "Indeed, if you diligently obey the LORD your God to carry out all his commands that I’m giving you today, then the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. 2 Moreover, all these blessings will come upon you in abundance, if you obey the LORD your God: 3 “Blessed will you be in the city and blessed will you be in the country. 4 “Blessed will your children be, as well as the produce of your land, the offspring of your beasts and cattle, and the offspring of your flock." Glory to God! If we declare that we believe in God then we should obey His commandments. Our Lord Jesus asked in Luke 6:46, "Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?" Indeed, because Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, you will keep my commandments." Amen! We should be obedient to God's words for our own good so we can enter the kingdom of our Father God. Our Lord Jesus also said in Matthew 7:21, "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." Glory to God! In Psalms 4:5-8, our Lord God was praised for being our help in dismal times, "Offer sacrifices that are righteous, and put your confidence in the LORD. 6 Many are asking, “Who will help us to see better days?” LORD, may the light of your favor shine upon us. 7 You have given me more joy in my heart than at harvest times, when grain and wine abound. 8 I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, LORD, enable me to live securely." Amen! Let us offer praises to God for giving us comfort and calmness when it seems things are not going well in our lives. Glory to God for His love to us! We trust in Him for He is our constant help especially in dire times. Psalms 63:7 says that, "Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice," this was David's psalm when he was in the wilderness of Judea. Praise God! He promised to help us and show us wonders which we havent seen before. Jeremiah 33:3 says, "Let your cry come to me, and I will give you an answer, and let you see great things and secret things of which you had no knowledge." Praise God! Our gracious Father God also told us in Isaiah 65:24, "And before they make their request I will give an answer, and while they are still making prayer to me, I will give ear." How wonderful our God is that He will answer us even before we say our prayers! Glory to God! Thosw who are faithful to our true God will have His favor. Hopeful Tuesday! 🍂🌾 Greatness and power belong to our Father God in heaven through Christ Jesus, our Lord and savior! Let me share these verses that Paul had written to the early Christians in 2 Corinthians 4:8-11, "Troubles are round us on every side, but we are not shut in; things are hard for us, but we see a way out of them; 9 We are cruelly attacked, but not without hope; we are made low, but we are not without help; 10 In our bodies there is ever the mark of the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may be seen in our bodies. 11 For, while living, we are still being given up to death because of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may be seen in our flesh, though it is under the power of death." We may have troubles and the world may look evil these days but we still hope that it will see God's goodness. David hoped for the same as he said in Psalms 27:13, "I believe that I will see the LORD’s goodness in the land of the living." Our Lord God has done so many great things in our lives. Without Him, we can do nothing. He, truly is worthy to be praised! Psalm 150:6 says, "let everything that has breath praise The Lord. Praise The Lord!" Let us keep hoping for God's favor amidst troubles and the wickedness that we have seen in this world. Thankful Friday! 🌾 Glory hallelujah to our Father God in heaven through Christ Jesus, our Lord and savior! Glory to God for for when we truly repent and ask to be renewed we can ask Him. Psalms 51:10 says, "Make a clean heart in me, O God; give me a right spirit again." Psalms 51:11-14 further inspired us, "Give me back the joy of your salvation; let a free spirit be my support. 13 Then will I make your ways clear to wrongdoers; and sinners will be turned to you. 14 Be my saviour from violent death, O God, the God of my salvation; and my tongue will give praise to your righteousness." Amen! We can pray and ask for the joy of God's salvation and let us give God praises! In Ephesians 4:22-24 Paul instructed us, "That you are to put away, in relation to your earlier way of life, the old man, which has become evil by love of deceit; 23 And be made new in the spirit of your mind, 24 And put on the new man, to which God has given life, in righteousness and a true and holy way of living." Let us manifest the new being in us, be gone with the old sinful ways and put on the new life of righteousness. First, let us ask for God's forgiveness. 1 John 1:9 tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Praise God, He is faithful and just to forgive us. So, let us return to God and repent. Let us show the ways of the righteous and be gone with the old sinful ways. We are told in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Look, new things have come." Praise God! Righteousness Sunday! 🌾 Power and glory belong to our Father God in heaven through Christ Jesus, our Lord and savior! Glory to God for we are told to seek peace and pursue it if we want to have good days. 1 Peter 3:10-11 told us, “The Bible says this: ‘If a person wants to enjoy his life and to have good days, he must be careful not to say bad things. And he must stop saying things that are not true." and, "Let him turn away from evil, and do good. Let him seek peace, and pursue it." Amen! Our God listens to those who do what is good and who live in righteousness. 1 Peter 3:12 says, "for the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears open to their prayers, but the face of The Lord are against those who do evil." 1 Peter 3:13 further tells us, "And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?" God protects those who follow what is good. If we are fixed on doing what is good and live in righteousness, there will be no one who can harm us because God's eyes are on us, He watches over us and He listens to our prayers! Praise God! Glorious Tuesday! 🌞 Glory and honor belong to our Father God in heaven through Christ Jesus, our Lord and savior! We praise God for He is our sun and our strength is our shield that protects the righteous. Psalms 84:11 tells us that, "The Lord God is our sun and our strength: the Lord will give grace and glory: he will not keep back any good thing from those whose ways are upright." Praise God! Psalms 3:8 says, "Salvation comes from the Lord; your blessing is on your people." Praise God! We will have no fear when we are in danger or hardship because salvation comes from our God. He will save us. We are told further in Psalms 119:114 that God is our safe haven, "You are my fortress and shield; I hope in your word." Amen! When life is hard and we are overwhelmed with so many concerns, God said in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;" and, "in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Truly, we should not depend on our judgment but instead surrender all to God and pray for God's wisdom to inspire us in our decisions. May we hope in God's word and trust that He will be our protection and He will lead us to what is good for us.
