UH-OA! It seems Cast Members are unfortunately blocked out of #MagicKingdom on March 5th! 🌩😱🌩 Our WDW Correspondent team relies almost entirely on their Main Entrance and Guest passes as well, but fear not! After 3 long years of having to postpone our festivities, those who can have bitten the bullet and purchased day passes to make sure the show goes on! This loss of key characters does mean we are reconfiguring the day's activities, but we will prevail! We apologize to any #AdventureLanders who have been affected by Disney's decision to block out the park on that day, and we have been working on figuring out how you may all be able to join in on the fun that day. At the very least, we plan on capping off the day at Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace at #DisneysPolynesianVillageResort, so you should still be able to join us for drinks and banter in paradise! Updates and information will be posted along with a schedule in the coming week. We may have to forgo an attraction schedule, as we have not heard back from park management, and we want to make sure we do not step on any toes or hooves of our beloved Land's curators!

In 1963 the Enchanted Tiki Room opened and became the first audio-animatronic show in the world. The show features over 150 animatronic birds, totems, and flowers. The newly invented audio-animatronics were so popular that Juan the Barker Bird was removed from the outside of the Enchanted Tiki Room for creating traffic jams in Adventureland. My fun, talented, and newly feathered friends and I had such an amazing time paying homage to this inventive attraction. I got to play as Rosita, the cockatoo showgirl that was missing until 2018. While there have been references to her all over the Disney parks, today Rosita can be spotted telling jokes on the bank of the Jungle Cruz at The Tropical Hideaway. I had just been promoted to Captain after the death of my friend Captain Raoul Durand. I didn’t wanna take care of nobody. After a while I realized, he was the one takin’ care of me. .
