I need to know who gave Henry the @lego police car set (I am guessing Villarrubias, but you never really know) because we had such a great time putting it together today! He followed the instructions pretty well for not quite 4, but I did have to promise that he could completely destroy it as soon as we finished and then build whatever his imagination told him to. Glad I got pics because he tore it completely apart before bedtime! My reason for being. The most beautiful and sweetest face I’ve ever seen, and I get to see it every day. I told him today that he has such beautiful eyes with mommy’s shape and daddy’s gorgeous color. He said, “Daddy has blue eyes and my eyes are green!” All I could say was, “Well, sometimes! You and daddy have magic color-changing eyes!” He thought that was cool. Then he told me my eyes are “brown and white.” I love hearing him describe how he sees the world. Every day, he gets a little report sent home, and every single time, the words “happy” and “talkative” are circled. Considering that’s all I’ve prayed for the last few years, I could not be happier.
