Tully - Blu-ray [Import Belgique] Tully est une comédie dramatique américaine réalisée par Jason Reitman, sorti en 2018. Diablo Cody a écrit le film comme un moyen de faire face à sa propre grossesse difficile. Le scénario l’a aidée, devenant « une présence rayonnante et apaisante à laquelle je pouvais revenir chaque fois que je me sentais dépassée ». Reitman a noté, selon Cody, que Tully s’inscrit thématiquement dans leurs collaborations précédentes, concluant logiquement une trilogie involontaire où « Juno parle d’être propulsé prématurément dans l’âge adulte, Young Adult est sur la résistance à l’âge adulte, et Tully est sur la recherche de la grâce et de l’acceptation au milieu de la vie ». Greener Grass (2019) dir. Jocelyn DeBoer & Dawn Luebbe In a weird suburban neighborhood where everyone wears braces and drives only golf carts, two soccer moms compete to one up the other by any means necessary. This was a fun, weird little comedy that Allen and I enjoyed a lot. There's a lot of strange stuff here that is highly reminiscent of Twin Peaks and the cinematography does well to emulate Wes Anderson's signature style and that blended with awkward surrealist comedy and you get something like Greener Grass. This movie is so hard to explain that I'm going to have to give no context spoilers. In this movie you have: literal-baby-gift-giving, child turns into a dog, parents dress up dog in human clothing and take dog to school and explains to teacher that human kid is now a dog, hair that bleeds during a haircut, and a woman puts a soccer ball under her dress and pretends to be pregnant only for everybody to actually believe she's pregnant and nobody bats an eye when she gives birth to a soccer ball and names him Twilson (because Wilson is the name of Tom Hanks baby in that movie), oh and Kids with Knives! That's really just the tip of the iceberg, though! If you enjoy weird surrealist comedies like The Happiness of the Katakuris or Paprika, you'll probably get a kick out of this. It's more of a you've got to see it to really understand how weird and absurd this film was. Two children can be a handful to deal with, especially when the parents each work a full-time job. Three children is significantly more difficult. Marlo (Charlize Theron) and Drew (Ron Livingston) are about to have their third child and are feeling overwhelmed with the labors of what is about to come. As the world appears to have its foot on their necks, making them numb to the joys of life, they receive a bit of advice (and potential help) from Marlo’s brother Craig (Mark Duplass). Craig opens their eyes to the potential use of a “night nanny” or someone that stays with the family throughout the night and allows the parents of a newborn to get some much needed rest. While skeptical at first, Marlo and Drew decide that this might be the saving grace that they need. This is where Tully (Mackenzie Davis) comes into play. Tully is the young, attractive and incredibly eccentric nanny who is here to save the day. But as Tully works hard to lift up the struggling Marlo, life has a way of pushing back and keeping the stress quite real and intense. Tully ( 2018 ): película dirigida por Jason Reitman, y protagonizada por Charlize Theron, Mackenzie Davis, Ron Livingston, Mark Duplass, Elaine Tan, Lia Frankland, Stormy Ent, Gameela Wright y Asher Miles Fallica. Pues me ha encantado esta película, todo lo relacionado principalmente con el plot twist, que es algo que valoro mucho en una película del estilo. Punto positivo: las actuaciones de Mackenzie Davis y principalmente, sobre todo, la espectacular Charlize Theron, en su más infravalorada interpretación, hacen de esta trama algo más que sencilla, una "metáfora" así por decir o simplemente un "retrato" de la depresión posparto y en como eso afecta a la mujer y en como al sentirse liberada consigue volver a ser lo que era. Es corta pero intensa pero que en ningún momento se siente un peso o incomodidad, es una película atrevida y muy agradable de ver. Punto negativo: aunque me haya gustado el plot twist, si has visto muchas películas por el estilo, vas a darte cuenta al momento. Y quizás sea uno de los puntos negativos o sino el único que veo en esta película, que me ha gustado bastante. Y aunque sea un plot twist muy interesante, me ha parecido mal explicado al final por algunos factores.
