At Surfers Corner, Muizenberg better surf conditions could not have been asked for by the team at the Roxy Davis Foundation. A light westerly held the waves, and warm, clear waters welcomed more than 100 volunteers who were needed on and in the water to assist surfers with disabilities set a new record for the most adaptive surfers on one wave. "The wave with the most number of adaptive surfers on it was 24; at present, this is an unofficial record that the Foundation hopes to make official and is planning to submit it to the Guinness World Records, symbolising our collective dedication to pushing boundaries and making waves in the world of inclusivity and community." - Roxy Davis (Founder and Director) Congratulations and THANK YOU to the Surfers and their support teams on land and in the water! After her first surf clinic, one of our newest volunteers shared that "making a sport I have so much admiration for more accessible and inclusive, just being able to extend the magic of it to others, was honestly the best way to spend my day".
